Abstract: Provided is a process for producing a glass-like carbon deformed molded article having a deformed section (typically, an elliptical section or a section composed of partial circles and linear portions), such as a glass-like carbon member in a deformed pipe form or a bent pipe, with relative ease and a good dimensional accuracy. The process comprises the step of molding a thermosetting resin to yield a thermosetting resin molded article, the step of deforming the thermosetting resin molded article plastically in the state that the article is heated, so as to yield a thermosetting resin deformed article, and the step of carbonizing the resultant thermosetting resin deformed article.

Abstract: Coupling device for hydraulically and mechanically coupling a fuel injector to a combustion engine fuel rail, having a fuel injector cup with a central longitudinal axis hydraulically coupled to the rail and engaging a fuel inlet portion of the injector, a first ring element fixedly coupled to the cup, and a second ring element fixedly coupled to the injector. One of the ring elements has a collar arranged radially outside the other elements and extending from the one element in direction of the longitudinal axis. The collar has a recess facing the central longitudinal axis. A circlip is arranged in the recess and arranged and designed to form a positive fitting coupling between the first and second ring elements. The circlip prevents a movement of the first ring element relative to the second element retaining the fuel injector in the fuel injector cup in direction of the central longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 7523963
Abstract: A split ring assembly for maintaining a releasable pipe coupling, of the type having a female portion having two pivoted opposite cam lever arms and a circumferentially grooved male portion, in an engaged position comprising: two generally semicircular ring portions hinged together on one side and provided with a latch mechanism on a diametrically opposite side; wherein each ring portion is notched to receive a swinging end portion of one of the cam lever arms; and wherein each ring portion is sized to closely surround the female portion of the pipe coupling. Then when the ring assembly surrounds said female portion and the pivoted arms, closing the latch mechanism visibly ensures that the coupling portions remain locked together. The split ring assembly is a rugged visibly convincing assurance that a coupling will not inopportunely open. It can be manipulated by an operator wearing heavy gloves in subzero weather or during a snow storm.

The hinge preferably includes first and second hinge mechanisms that operate independently of one another. The coupling assembly also includes a fastening mechanism that releasably fastens the first coupling portion to the second coupling portion at a second end. The fastening mechanism uses extended portions provided on the first and second coupling portions to fasten the first and second coupling portions. The fastening mechanism includes first and second locking mechanisms. The first and second locking mechanisms include a latch that fastens the first and second coupling portions. The coupling assembly may also include a bonding mechanism and an indicator latch.

Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling between a first body (3) with a hole and an end zone of a second body (2) to be inserted therein, in which hole extends a ring (6), which ring is elastically deformable such that it bends when said end zone is inserted and scrapes over the surface thereof with its free edge such that the movement in backward direction is blocked. The coupling has the feature that the ring has an interruption with two ends which are directed toward each other and which are displaced away from each other in the direction of the axis such that the ring has a helical form, such that the free end edge of the ring has an inclining position corresponding to a helix, as a consequence of which, when the second body is rotated relative to the first body, the second body can be removed by a screwing movement from the hole of the first body.
