Abstract: A metering device is configured for fitting into a sand-spreading system of a rail vehicle. The metering device has a housing block, in which a sand path extends from a sand-feeding funnel into a vertical sand blow-out channel via a sand-mixing channel, which rises at an inclination from a sand-holding space to a sand deflection space. A pushing air tube is provided for producing an air flow that conveys spreading sand. The pushing air tube protrudes into the sand-mixing channel coaxially from the bottom. A nozzle insert is detachable inserted into an inflow channel, which leads into the sand deflection space from above. The nozzle insert is provided for producing an air jet directed downward into the sand blow-out channel. The amount of scattering sand that is discharged can be metered more precisely and the susceptibility of the metering device to wear is improved.
Abstract: The invention discloses an automatic powder cleaning system for mixed-line hub bolt holes and a combined powder cleaning gun. The powder cleaning system comprises a control system, a recognition system, a powder cleaning robot, a gun storage and an accessory device. A plurality of combined powder spraying guns are arranged in the gun storage, and a quick disassembly fixture is arranged at the end of the powder cleaning robot.
Abstract: A spreading device for a pneumatic application of brake sand on rail-mounted vehicles, comprising an air source and a sand container as storage container for the brake sand or the spreading material, an outlet at the lower end of the sand container, a connecting pipe to a mixing container provided for air-charged swirling of the spreading material to form a sand stairway and a dispensing device disposed on the mixing container for the specific dispensing of the spreading material onto the rails in front of the wheels.

Abstract: A pressure relief valve includes a singular body that encloses a seat and a stationary shim, a poppet, within the singular body, that is forced against a seat by a spring attached to the stationary shim, and a pin inserted into the pressure relief valve body to lock the pressure relief valve into a housing bore. The poppet includes a nose extension that extends into a void enclosed by the seat to provide damping. The seat includes a non-threaded stepped region on its outer surface and the singular body includes a complementary stepped region on its inner surface such that when the seat is fit into the singular body, the stepped region of the seat and the complementary stepped region of the singular body interface with each other to prevent movement of the seat toward the spring. The pin includes a coating to reduce friction and galling.
