    Abstract: A motor vehicle having at least one side door opening formed in the body of the same and having a sliding door closing the same, wherein the side door opening has a sill structure for supporting and movably guiding the sliding door, wherein the sill structure has a hollow profile oriented in the vehicle longitudinal direction (x-direction) and formed as a welded part, and wherein the hollow profile on the vehicle exterior has a welding flange, extending along the sill structure and oriented in the vehicle vertical direction (z-direction), as a mounting flange for a door seal, which delimits an indentation formed in an upper section of the outer contour of the hollow profile. It is provided advantageously that a recess having at least one guide rail for a roller guide of the sliding door is disposed above the indentation, which recess is detachably secured to the sill structure.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a fixing device for fixing an actuation device with push-push kinematics on a component of a motor vehicle. The fixing device includes a housing with a guiding element and a locking recess on its outer surface, an opening in the component for inserting the actuation device, a guiding element on the component, and a locking projection on the component. The guiding elements of the actuation device and the component corporate such that the actuation device is guided into the opening in a predetermined rotational position, and the locking projection and the locking recess lock with each other upon the actuation device being inserted fully into the opening in the predetermined rotational position, and thus fix the actuation device on the component. The locking can be released again by rotating of the actuation device out of the predetermined rotational position.

    Abstract: A security system for a shipping container includes a cover and seal pin, and a special removal tool for removing the pin from the cover. The cover includes a vertical channel with top and bottom plates mounted therein to form a rearwardly opening box. A pair of vertically aligned apertures in the top and bottom plates are aligned with apertures in ears of a hasp on the shipping container, and receive the seal pin to secure the cover to the container. A seal pin includes an elongated shaft with annular grooves in the upper and lower ends. A pair of end caps each includes an annular groove on their interior surfaces that correspond with the shaft grooves to retain a locking ring within the pair of aligned grooves, when the caps are snapped on the ends of the shaft. The locking rings prevent removal of the caps, once snapped into place on the shaft. A removal tool includes a hydraulic pump with a punch secured to a piston of the pump.

The locking bracket is in a shape to support a disc shaped locking member, loosely supported on a center pin and adapted to wedge between an angled side of the support bracket in the window frame at all times except when the disc is lifted to prevent wedging.
