Abstract: A guy adapter includes a main body having first and second ends. A socket member is connected to the first end. An eye member is connected to the second end. A non-integral pulling eye is slidably mounted on the main body. The socket member is forged to the first end of the main body. A pulling eye is slidably disposed on the main body. The eye member is forged to the second end of the main body. Accordingly, the guy adapter is formed having a non-integral pulling eye slidably mounted thereon.

Abstract: A fence stretcher system and method are shown and described. In one embodiment, the fence stretcher system comprises a body. A rod having a diameter configured to allow the rod to be woven into a fence's links may be attached to the body. A rod-holder having a diameter sized to receive the rod may also be attached to the body. A plurality of hooks configured to engage the rod when the rod is woven into the fence may also be attached to the body. An interface may also be attached to the body. Using this system, fence may be quickly and easily stretched with minimal link displacement.
Abstract: A rope/wire pulling device designed to provide maximum pulling pressure by the use of two handles and a non-slip ratcheting clutch which grasps the rope or wire tighter as additional pulling pressure is applied.
Abstract: A tool used to sculpt the icing on a baked good. The tool includes a handle having opposing inner sides with a channel formed in at least one inner side. The inner sides of the handle define a cavity therebetween. The tool also includes at least one blade with a protrusion that is sized and shaped to engage the channel in the inner side of the handle so that the blade is removably positioned within the handle cavity. The blade also includes decorative tips that extend from each end of the blade. The tool further includes a clip that secures the opposing sides of the handle together to form the tool.
Abstract: A fence-pulling device and method for attaching non-rigid fencing material to fence-posts. One end of a sliding chain is connected to a fence-pulling engine such as a tractor, while the other end of the sliding chain is hookably attached to a slide bar adapted to permit the sliding chain to slide along portions thereof in response to components of the pulling force which are aligned with the slide bar, such as would result, for example, where fencing material is applied to fence-posts set in non-level ground.
Abstract: A portable belt clamping and pulling apparatus is provided to grip and pull belt ends together for splicing belt ends of a conveyor belt. A pair of belt ends are clamped between respective pairs of I-beams, the clamped belt ends are pulled together by a come-along mechanism, and the free ends of belt between the I-beams are maintained held together in a tension-free environment to allow fastening together of the belt ends. The preferred clamping jaws are in the form of at least one clamping lever pivotally mounted on a central frame having a central opening through which the I-beams are inserted. The clamping lever is connected to a pulling device that pivots the clamping lever to cause the clamping members to tightly grip a belt end between the I-beams. The clamping jaws include respective pre-tightening screws for clamping the I-beams to the belt prior to the initiation of pulling by the chains so as to eliminate slippage of the belt from between the I-beams during the initial pulling.

Abstract: A locking pliers pulling system for tensioning or hanging a workpiece comprises a set locking pliers to be secured to the workpiece linked to a pulling device via an adapter. The adapter is threaded into the hollow adjustment barrel of a set of locking pliers of the type commonly referred to as Vise Grips.RTM.. The puller adapter is an integral component comprising a threaded, elongated shank portion, coaxial follower portion and a coaxial eye portion. The shank is adapted to screw into the adjustment barrel of the locking pliers. The follower portion extends from a first end of the shank portion to engage the locking link of the pliers, within the adjustment barrel. The eye portion extends from an opposite end of the shank portion to mate with a puller. The puller may be a winch, cable puller of the type commonly referred to as a "come-along", a slide hammer or the like. The eye promotes self centering of the link between the puller to the pliers. The eye may be oval or may define a narrowing slot.
Abstract: A portable belt clamping and pulling apparatus is provided to grip and pull belt ends together for splicing belt ends of a conveyor belt. A pair of belt ends are clamped between respective pairs of I-beams, the clamped belt ends are pulled together by a come along mechanism, and the free ends of belt between the I-beams are maintained held together in a tension free environment to allow fastening together of the belt ends. The respective I-beams which clamp the belt ends are clamped together by a pair of clamping jaws which are slidable along the I-beams to any desired position therealong to accommodate different belt widths and allow positioning of the clamping jaws adjacent the sides of the belt regardless of the width of the belt. Thus, exerting the tension force close to the edges of the belt.
Abstract: A belt gripping device is constructed for grasping a length of conveyor b by the use of clamping surfaces adapted to engage upper and lower faces of the belt and with pivoting clamping elements. The clamping surfaces are located clear of the middle of the belt and a transverse, telescoping connecting element is used to maintain the pivoting clamping elements at an adjustable distance from each other.

Abstract: A pair of belt clamps is used for tensioning a conveyor belt to join its ends. Each clamp comprises a channel member and a rectangular bar member sized to span the width of the belt. The channel member has parallel sidewalls and a center wall defining two channels sized to receive the narrow dimension of the bar member together with a thickness of the belt. Two pivotable links connect the ends of the bar member to the end of the center wall. The clamp is connected to a conventional haulage device via a rigid loop mounted on the bar member radially of the axis of rotation of such member about the connecting links. Pulling the loop lengthwise of the belt rotates the bar member into one of the channels to clamp the belt therein. The sidewall of the unused channel engages the underside of the belt to resist any tendency of the channel member to rotate.
