Including Threaded Tightener Patents (Class 294/134)
  • Patent number: 10604962
Abstract: A barrier framework is formed from vertical posts and horizontal rails. Infill sections cover major openings in the barrier framework. Elongate junction elements overlay each rail and join adjacent infill sections. Edges of the infill sections fit within channels formed in the junction elements. Each junction element has an H-shaped cross-sectional profile, with the arms on one side shorter than those on the other. A cover element encloses the shorter arms of each junction element and clamps infill material against the longer arms.

  • Patent number: 6068318
Abstract: There is a clamp for a conveyor belt. The clamp comprises a yoke having a shoulder member, two laterally extending arms defining a recess therebetween and a channel which extends through the yoke at a right angle to the width of the recess. In use of the clamp an edge portion of the belt is located in the recess and a pair of beams are inserted through the channel to pass respectively over and under the belt and rotation of a turn-screw extending through a threaded seat in one of the arms exerts a clamping force through the beams directly onto the edge portion of the belt.

  • Patent number: 5431371
Abstract: A portable belt clamping and pulling apparatus is provided to grip and pull belt ends together for splicing belt ends of a conveyor belt. A pair of belt ends are clamped between respective pairs of I-beams, the clamped belt ends are pulled together by a come along mechanism, and the free ends of belt between the I-beams are maintained held together in a tension free environment to allow fastening together of the belt ends. The respective I-beams which clamp the belt ends are clamped together by a pair of clamping jaws which are slidable along the I-beams to any desired position therealong to accommodate different belt widths and allow positioning of the clamping jaws adjacent the sides of the belt regardless of the width of the belt. Thus, exerting the tension force close to the edges of the belt.
