The transmission power of uplink (UL) signals may be adjusted accordingly, with relatively higher transmission power for open space or a cover and relatively lower transmission power for human tissue. One example method for wireless communications by a UE generally includes transmitting a first signal from the UE, receiving a plurality of signals at the UE based on the transmitted first signal, determining values for at least two different types of parameters based on the received plurality of signals, determining an environmental scenario for the UE based on the values for the at least two different types of parameters, and transmitting a second signal using a transmission power based on the determined environmental scenario.

Abstract: A tool includes a handle, an extension member extending from the handle, and an anchor assembly coupled to the extension member opposite the handle. The anchor assembly is configured for selective anchoring to a seat track of an air cargo pallet, and the anchor assembly includes at least one locking member that is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. In particular, when the at least one locking member is in the unlocked position, the at least one locking member is configured to advance into a slot of the seat track. When the at least one tool is in the locked position, the at least one locking member is configured to mechanically interfere with at least a portion of the seat track in a manner retaining the at least one locking member in the slot, thereby anchoring the anchor assembly to the seat track.

Abstract: A temporary plug apparatus for use to seal a port in an upper manifold or lower manifold corresponding to a damaged filter grid in a pool filter system is provided. The plug apparatus includes a main body having a central body, an upper tubular member designed to insert into one of a plurality of ports in the upper manifold and a lower tubular member designed to insert into one of a plurality of ports in the lower manifold, and an elastic band coupled to the main body and designed to wrap around the upper manifold or lower manifold of the pool filter system to ensure the upper tubular member or lower tubular member of the main body is secured to the one of the plurality of ports in the upper or lower manifold.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a bag carrier for hand, including a handle, a fastener and a button. The handle includes a handheld portion and a bag carrying portion. The handle is provided with an opening between the handheld portion and the bag carrying portion. The fastener includes a closing portion for closing the opening. A passage for placing the button is disposed at the end of the handheld portion. The button is movably placed in the passage and is fixedly connected to the first elastic rod. The button is pressed to drive the first elastic rod to deform so as to open the closing portion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile device securing system that allows a user to insert his/her finger into a finger gap created by the invention when engaged with the mobile device. This invention may be used on any number of mobile devices, provided that the mobile device has one or more ports included therein. The invention includes at least one connector disposed on a connecting end that may be inserted into a port included in the mobile device to create a finger gap into which a user may insert his/her finger therein, thus reducing the risk that the mobile device will be dropped when held with one hand.

Abstract: A barbell collar system which is both easy to connect or disconnect from the barbell and secure enough to maintain weights on a barbell during extreme use. The barbell collar system generally includes a collar which is adapted to easily and quickly be connected to or removed from a barbell to retain a weight on the barbell. The collar is adapted to adjust between a first position in which the collar is curled around the barbell outside of the weight and a second position in which the collar is elongated in a linear orientation. The collar may include a ribbon spring for snapping between the two positions and an outer covering for increasing friction between the collar and the barbell. One or more magnets may be included with the collar to magnetically engage the collar with the barbell or the collar with itself.

Each finger hold provides a location by which the user's finger tip can brace and consequently permit the user to better grip and hold the device with a single hand.

The handle includes an actuating pole and two rotating arms located on the actuating pole. The two rotating arms are respectively connected to two opposite ends of the mounting member. Abstract: The invention disclosed herein is a fastener which is embedded into a sturdy fabric. Once embedded into a sturdy fabric the fastener may be joined making a bag which can be used to contain items such as yard debris, sporting equipment, and many other items. In another embodiment, the fastener may be embedded into a strap and used to secure items to trailers, boats, and cars or to securely bundle items such as sticks, firewood, baseball bats, hockey sticks, tools and the like. The invention disclosed herein is composed of a fastener spring and a fastener spring receiver embedded into the opposite corners of a sturdy fabric. The fastener spring consist of a spring from which two lateral struts extend. At the end of the lateral struts, circular stops are attached. The fastener spring receiver is rectangular. The lateral struts of the fastener spring are compressed and the circular stops are inserted into the spring receiver.

Abstract: A multi-media tablet holder is provided and includes a first retention member, a second retention member, a pair of slide pins, at least one extension spring and a handle. The first retention member includes a first retention plate and a first retention rail. The second retention member includes a second retention plate and a second retention rail. The first and second retention rails are sized to receive a thickness of a multi-media tablet. There is also provided a multi-media tablet holder including a retention member, a handle assembly and an articulating mechanism for pivoting and rotating the retention member relative to the handle assembly.

Abstract: A portable electronic device handler that is used to support a portable electronic device within a user's hand. The portable electronic device handler includes a device restraint that is connected to a device case or back casing of an electronic device by a swivel mount. The device restraint provides a means for securing the electronic device to a user's hand, while the swivel mount allows the device restraint to rotate three hundred sixty degrees. This allows the user to manipulate the portable electronic device at any angle within his or her hand without the concern of dropping the portable electronic device. The device restraint has a handle mount and a handle, preferably a nylon or leather strap, forming a loop through which the user can position their fingers. The handle mount supports and provides structure for the handle.

Abstract: A tote for dragging a game carcass has first and second identically configured rigid members that are movable toward each other to bring each of two side-by-side recesses defined by one of the members into alignment with a different one of the recesses defined by the other of the members when the members are urged toward engagement. An alignment assisting projection carried by the one member is extensible into an opening defined by the other member. The recesses are preferably substantially semi-circular and sized to close about and grasp small regions of front or rear legs of a game carcass. A flexible tow rope or cable extends through aligned passages of the rigid members and connects with a handle. Pulling the tow rope or cable can help clamp the rigid members together.

The apparatus generally includes a frame, a pair of handles, and a case approximately the size of the notebook. Abstract: The first embodiment of the present invention presents a mobile device holder that is comprised of four components: a single finger holder, a single finger tensioner, a base platform; and an adhesive pad. The single finger holder and tensioner are permanently attached to form a first assembly, and the base platform and the adhesive pad are combined to form a second assembly. The adhesive pad has a cover that when removed may be used to attach the second assembly to a mobile handheld device. The first assembly is easily attached to and removed from the second assembly by a user. The first assembly may be rotated 360 degrees relative to the second assembly, and is held snugly in place by the single finger tensioner. Several additional embodiments are presented. One alternate embodiment replaces the single finger holder by a two-finger holder; another embodiment has an accessory that attaches to the handlebars of a stationary bicycle.

A lower part of the handle portion is flat such that the contact-lens putting support tool is softly placed on a flat surface. The head portion is directed obliquely upward with respect to an axis formed by the handle portion, is curved downward, and has a spoon-like shape of which upper and lower surfaces are rounded. A convex surface of the contact lens having a concave surface thereof adhering to the lower surface of the head portion is placed at a predetermined position of a contact-lens putting tool.

In some implementations, the holder may also include two circular-shaped disks rotatably connected to each other. In some implementations the disks are any shape. In this way, when the disks are secured to the fabric-like material attached to the handheld device, the handheld device may be rotated.

The sheet is held in place by an edge grip member around the edge of the sheet and shaped to engage the edge of the plate to hold the sheet at the rear face. The sheet has an array of at least four holes therethrough allowing the individual fingers of the user to pass through respective ones of the holes to an underside of the sheet adjacent to the rear face. The elasticity of the sheet allows the sheet to stretch away from the rear face to receive the fingers underneath the sheet.

The detachable clip of the strap allows the strap system to loop around and be secured onto an object. The case may have an insert that can be used as a kickstand or a protective cover of a card held into place by the strap.

Abstract: The invention provides a removable device for securing and handling tarpaulins and other flexible sheet materials. The device can be attached to the tarpaulin anywhere along its edge but it is most conveniently employed at one or more available grommets. The device includes a base member a closure member and a hinge positioned there between to move the closure member from open to closed positions to secure the device to the tarpaulin. The base member includes a integral handle region for ease of carrying and securing the contents of the tarpaulin.

Abstract: A lawn tarpaulin of strong, flexible material for collecting and hauling leaves and lawn debris is described consisting of a rectangular tarpaulin with two or more weighted and partially stiffened edges. Both the weight and stiffening are provided by a plurality of strips of stiff dense material, such as metal strips, fastened to the tarp edges alternating with short gaps of flexible tarpaulin edge between them. This allows the tarpaulin to be folded for convenient storage. The weighted edges keep the tarpaulin from bowing in the wind and stable when raking debris onto the tarpaulin. A handle attached to one corner of the tarpaulin connects the opposite corner and to at least one central point on a front edge for hauling. The partially stiffened edges cause the tarpaulin to assume a shape while hauling that encloses the load and prevents spillage.
