The plurality of petals extends proximally from the distal ring and is longitudinally translatable relative to the proximal ring. Longitudinal translation of the collar causes the plurality of petals to move between a first position defining a first gap between a proximal end of the plurality of petals and the elongated portion, and a second position defining a second, greater gap between the proximal end of the plurality of petals and the elongated portion.

    Abstract: A cooking basket holder comprises a hand gripping section that allows a user to hold the cooking basket holder by inserting four fingers and grasping thus providing a firm grip. A locking notch is formed at the distal end therein and has a smaller diameter than the insertion end. Additionally, in another embodiment of the present invention, semi-circular arms are provided to add extra stability.     Abstract: A door painting handle system comprises a pair of special handles used as a tool to pick up a wet door and put it somewhere else for drying. Two different handles are used to attach to the door where contact will cause minimal disturbance to the wet paint. One handle has a large pin that slips into the empty hole provided for the door locksets. The other handle has three of four spikes that are pressed into the screw holes predrilled for one of the door hinge plates. The two handles together allow a worker to lift the door without disturbing wet painted finish surfaces.

    Abstract: A system and method for the removal, handling, and inspection of honey frames from beehive boxes. The system includes a handle bar positioned on the top plate of an improved frame structure. The handle bar retains two threaded T-bolts that are aligned with threaded aperture inserts that have been positioned in the top plate to form the improved honey frame. The threaded bolts are secured within the threaded aperture inserts to a spaced attachment to the frame. Once positioned, excess top wax is scraped away and the frame lifted from the hive by the handle bar. The tubular handle bar is appropriately configured to be inserted into a circular clamp that may be positioned on a table or other structure. The circular clamp grips and retains the handle bar and the attached frame in a position appropriate for inspection.

The ends of the strips, which are typically taken from supply rolls have saw tooth ends, and are heat sealed for protection against fraying. In one embodiment, the strips are aligned end to end. In another embodiment, the loop-type and hook-type connections are staggered so that a first end of one of the strips lies intermediate the ends of the other strip, and whereby the opposite end of the first strip, after being passed through the handles of the bags is brought around so as to lie adjacent to the first end of the first strip. A method is provided for forming the hook-type and loop-type strips to prevent fraying due to use.
