Abstract: A cookware article includes a container, a fixed handle, and a removable handle. The fixed handle is mounted on a side wall of the container. The fixed handle has an opening for the removable handle to insert. A fixed portion and a grip portion are formed on two sides of the opening respectively. The removable handle has a grip segment and an engaging segment. The engaging segment has a first abutting portion, a second abutting portion, and a connecting portion between the first abutting portion and the second abutting portion. When the removable handle is engaged with the fixed handle through the engagement segment, the connecting portion is inserted in the opening so that the first abutting portion is abutted against the fixed portion, the second abutting portion is abutted against the grip portion. As such, the removable handle supports the container.

Abstract: The invention describes a device for carrying beverage cans and bottles comprising a can clip element, a beverage bottle connector cord element and a grasper cord element. The three elements are intended to cooperate as one unit for use with cans and bottles. The can clip element's one-piece design comprising a proximal loop for securing a grasper element and a can engagement slot allows it to be reversibly secured to the top of an opened beverage. The design provides for easy carrying and does not interfere with the user's ability sip the contents of the opened container. The bottle securing attachment element allows it to be easily adjusted around the neck of a beverage bottle regardless of the neck's diameter. The design further allows the user to have both features available within one self-contained unit for use with beverage bottles or beverage cans, whatever the preference may be.

Abstract: A system and method utilizing a robotic arm to prepare a food product such as a meat for cooking and then subsequently assembling a sandwich from the cooked meat is disclosed. In addition, the robotic arm may also be used to wrap the assembled sandwich in a wrapper. The system may utilize a wire basket with a basket adapter, or handle, to allow the robotic arm to easily maneuver the basket and also utilize a wrapping assist device to wrap a wrapper around the assembled sandwich.

Abstract: A multi-media tablet holder is provided and includes a first retention member, a second retention member, a pair of slide pins, at least one extension spring and a handle. The first retention member includes a first retention plate and a first retention rail. The second retention member includes a second retention plate and a second retention rail. The first and second retention rails are sized to receive a thickness of a multi-media tablet. There is also provided a multi-media tablet holder including a retention member, a handle assembly and an articulating mechanism for pivoting and rotating the retention member relative to the handle assembly.

Abstract: A package for a food product comprises a container that has two sealed containment sections separated by a central portion located between the two containment sections. The container is adapted to be folded at the central portion, and a band that is separate from the container encircles the central portion. The circumference of the band provides a space between the band and the outer surface of the central portion that is large enough for a person's hand to be placed between the band and the central portion, and grasp the band. An assembled food product package comprises the package and two food product portions individually contained within each containment section. A method of making an assembled food product package comprises sealing two food product portions in the two containment sections and applying a band around the central portion.

Abstract: A portable cup holder includes: a cup-holding unit including a first cup-embracing wall that is formed with two first wall holes and a second cup-embracing wall that is formed with two second wall holes aligned with the first wall holes; and a handle string unit including first and second string parts, each of which extends from outside of the cup-holding space through one of the first wall holes into the cup-holding space and then through one of the second wall holes to the outside of the cup-holding space and then extends therefrom through the other of the second wall holes into the cup-holding space and then through the other of the first wall holes to the outside of the cup-holding space. Each of the first and second string parts is shiftable along a transverse direction.

Abstract: A carrier is provided for facilitating the carrying and transportation of a funerary container having a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a top surface, along with a length and width and interior large enough to accommodate an un-cremated corpse. The carrier includes a base member having a length generally long enough to span the width of the funerary container and a upper surface sized and configured for receiving the bottom surface of the funerary container. An upstanding member has a lower end coupled to the base member and an upper end. The upstanding member extends in a plane generally perpendicular to the base member. A handle member is provided that is coupled to the upstanding member. The handle includes a hand receiving surface engageable by the hand of the user.

Abstract: A tool for removing an interchangeable cooking insert from a grill has a handle end and an engagement end. A handle extends from the handle end toward the engagement end. A support arm extends from the handle toward the engagement end. The support arm has a first lateral edge defining a first lifting hook and a second lateral edge defining a second lifting hook. The first lifting hook and second lifting hook are configured to engage a portion of the cooking insert. A support pin extends across the support arm between the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge. A latch member is pivotally coupled to one of the support arm and the handle. The latch member includes a first end selectively engageable with a portion of the cooking insert and a second end extending through the handle for actuation of the latching member by a user.

The design may accept containers of varying sizes and shapes and requires a minimum number of steps and effort to secure the device to the container. A detachable handle according to the invention may remain secured to the container when not actively in use by the user.

Abstract: An ergonomic handle is used in conjunction with a ductile material, e.g., straps, for securing, lifting and carrying objects. The handle comprises four legs perpendicular to each other and joined at a center routing bowl. The center bowl includes an angled tab arm over its top. Each flat surfaced leg with side rails provides a channel for the strap material. Each leg includes a locking tab fixed to one side of the leg. Integral gripping teeth are on one face of the locking tab and mate with similar integral gripping teeth on the channel surface of each leg. The strap is placed on a leg surface, secured with the locking tab, then wrapped around the object to the second leg and secured. At the center bowl, the strap is re-directed to a third leg, secured, then wrapped around the object for securing on the fourth leg.

Abstract: The bottle holder is formed of a synthetic fiber rope, allowing various portions of the rope to be fused together by heat or solvent. The ends of the rope are melted and pressed together to form a relatively large endless loop. The facing portions of this loop are then partially melted and pressed together to form a single fused handgrip portion having loops extending from opposite ends thereof. One loop is preferably larger than the other, the larger loop being adapted to fit around the base of a beverage bottle and the smaller loop being adapted to fit about the bottleneck. The fused central or handgrip portion of this structure is then helically wound with a smaller diameter cord to form a handgrip, the ends of the cord being captured by the juncture of one of the rope loops and by a bight in the cord.

The rail members form a rectangular, depending on the shape of the chafing dish, structure. Handle members extend from the rail members on opposed sides of the frame and extend in a manner that does not prevent the lid placement or the nesting of chafing dishes in storage.

Abstract: A semiconductor device fabrication apparatus includes a load lock chamber, a loading assembly in the load lock chamber, and an ion implantation target chamber that is hermetically connected to the load lock chamber. The load lock chamber is configured to store a plurality of wafer plates. Each wafer plate respectively includes at least one semiconductor wafer thereon. The ion implantation target chamber is configured to implant an ion species into a semiconductor wafer on a currently loaded wafer plate. The loading assembly is also configured to load a next one of the plurality of wafer plates from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber. The loading assembly may be configured to load the next wafer plate from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber while substantially maintaining a current temperature within the ion implantation target chamber and/or without depressurizing the ion implantation target chamber. Preferred embodiments include a lifting body and a handle molded as a single piece of injection molded plastic, a lifting plate having metal teeth or other lifting members, and a weight transfer member that shifts the weight of a box to a lateral surface of the users forearm or hand. The lifting members are preferably angled other than 90° relative to a long axis of the handle. Preferred lifting plates include a plurality of openings, such that the lifting members of one plate enter the openings in the other plate and vice versa during storage of the devices. Magnets can be included to couple the left and right mating pairs. Lateral and medial forearm stops can be used to restrict a bending movement of the user's wrists relative to the handle.

Abstract: A pair of devices for lifting boxes is disclosed. Each device comprises a handle, lifting surface, lifting plate and a plurality of lifting members in the form of angled teeth. During use, the teeth of each device are inserted into opposite sides of a corrugated box. A user is then able to lift the box using the temporary handles. The teeth are angled relative to a bottom edge of the lifting plates allowing a user's wrist to maintain a proper position to lift boxes over the user's head. During non-use the pair of devices they are connected with magnets such that the teeth of each lifting plate are received by corresponding openings in the other lifting plate. Each tooth may also include an extension portion for accommodating portions of a box thereby increasing the surface area of contact between the teeth and the box.

Abstract: The invention is a beverage cup tote to be carried on the forearm or with the hand. The construct has an enlarged first end attached with bridge section to an enlarged second end. There is a first hole in the first enlarged end, and a second hole in a second enlarged end. The holes may be rectangular or round to receive typical food containers or beverage cups. The bridge section has either symmetrical or asymmetrical quarter circle trimmings. A pair of constructs maybe affixed with each other with a pin clip, glue, or staples to produce a generally X shaped combination construct. The beverage cup totes may be manufactured as a combination construct by the manufacturer to produce a strengthened unit, or manufactured as a generally X shaped combination construct unit with cup openings on each branch. The process of using the invention is described.

Abstract: The present invention provides a handle or shroud for carrying or manipulating portable gas cylinders and gas cylinder valves for the administration of medical gases, such as oxygen. The shroud of the present invention provides improved safety and versatility to the handling process of such cylinders and valves. In one embodiment, the handle or shroud allows an individual to lift the cylinder, valve and shroud from about 26? off the ground or floor with the wrist turned up.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided which can be used to pry apart a first object, such as a hotel pan, from a second object, such as a chaffing dish, and to lift the first object off of or out of the second object. The apparatus may be comprised of first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth portions, which may be plates, and which may be integrated together. The first, second, fourth, and sixth portions may be substantially straight, while the third and the fifth portions may be substantially semicircular. In one embodiment, first and second fingers are inserted through the third and fourth portions before using the apparatus to pry apart the first object from the second object.

Abstract: A semiconductor device fabrication apparatus includes a load lock chamber, a loading assembly in the load lock chamber, and an ion implantation target chamber that is hermetically connected to the load lock chamber. The load lock chamber is configured to store a plurality of wafer plates. Each wafer plate respectively includes at least one semiconductor wafer thereon. The ion implantation target chamber is configured to implant an ion species into a semiconductor wafer on a currently loaded wafer plate. The loading assembly is also configured to load a next one of the plurality of wafer plates from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber. The loading assembly may be configured to load the next wafer plate from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber while substantially maintaining a current temperature within the ion implantation target chamber and/or without depressurizing the ion implantation target chamber. Abstract: A gripping device for use on a paint tin has a U-shaped grip with a middle section and two flexible arms. Free outer ends of the flexible arms are provided with hook-shaped parts which are used to couple to a paint tin. Within the grip is a U-shaped handle, free outer ends of which are provided with sleeves that can slide along the anus of the grip. There are stops on the arms of the grip which limit sliding of the free outer ends of the handle in a direction towards the middle section of the grip. By pulling the middle section of the handle towards the middle section of the grip, the arms bend as a result of which the free outer ends of the arms come towards each other.

The basket is sized, shaped, and positioned so as to provide low resistance when drawn through an ice and water mixture within the ice chest and the rim has openings for receiving the necks of bottles such as soft drink or beer bottles.

Abstract: A carrier for carrying a can with a bail has a stepped ramp to engage with the bail of the can and secure the can to the carrier. The carrier includes a comfortable hand grip. In order to use the carrier, the user may place the front face of the carrier against the side of the can, with the hooked bottom portion of the carrier engaging the bottom edge of the can, slide the bail downwardly along the rear face of the carrier, passing over stepped ramps on the rear face until the can is tightly sealed against the hooked bottom portion of the carrier, and then grasp the hand grip on the carrier and lift the carrier to pick up the can.

Abstract: An automatic device for handling objects comprises gripper blades attached to a guide, an actuator connected to an external connection transporting the device, and a switching mechanism. The switching mechanism alternately changes the state of the pickup device between object-engaging and object-disengaging states each time the guide reaches an end-of-travel position at an object holder. A single external axial movement is performed for both transporting the pickup device and actuating the switch and the grippers. The pickup device may include radially-gliding pierced grippers crossed by curved arms attached to the axially moving actuator. The described devices and methods may be used in object-handling robots, in particular for CD/DVD handling applications.

Abstract: Removable handles for use with a cooking utensil. In the preferred embodiment of the present inventions, the cooking utensil is a griddle which is intended for use on a grill to provide for the frying of foods. The removable handles are easily put into or out of engagement with a griddle, and have downwardly extending legs which elevate and support the griddle when placed on a flat surface. It is intended that the handles be removed from the griddle during the period of time that the griddle is used for cooking, such that the handles and leg supports always remain cook. Thus, when the food is cooked, the griddle can be removed from the grill using the handles without the use of oven mitts. Furthermore, the griddle can be set on a flat surface for use as a serving platter. Because the legs will elevate the griddle, it is not necessary to use trivets to prevent heat damage to the surface.

Abstract: A strainer gripping and lifting assembly includes a generally horizontally orientated elongated member that has a first end and a second end. A hook member is attached to the second end of the elongated member and hangs downwardly from the elongated member. A stabilizer is attached to and extends downwardly from the elongated member. The stabilizer is positioned for selectively abutting a peripheral wall of a strainer basket when the hook member removably engages a handle of the strainer basket. A handhold is attached to an upper surface of the elongated member. The handhold is positioned generally adjacent to the first end of the elongated member.

Abstract: A pair of devices for lifting boxes is disclosed. Each device comprises a handle, lifting surface, lifting plate and a plurality of lifting members in the form of angled teeth. During use, the teeth of each device are inserted into opposite sides of a corrugated box. A user is then able to lift the box using the temporary handles. The teeth are sized to avoid damage to the contents of the box. The teeth may be punched into a removable metallic lifting plate. The design of the teeth provides a sufficient amount of surface area for maintaining the box. During non-use the lifting plate may be removed and re-attached in an opposite orientation to prevent injuries which may be caused by the teeth.

The container body has lid support inserts in a lid receptacle, and the lid has corner inserts for contact with the lid support inserts to support the lid. A supporting member is attached to the container body. The supporting member includes a base plate portion, side plates extending from the base plate portion, and a handle on each side plate for lifting the container body. The thin plate supporting member has contacting portions to support the thin plates, supporting members which elastically support the contacting portions, and a base support bar to support the supporting portions. The tip end of each supporting portion contacts a support stage, and elastically supports the contacting portions from both sides.

Abstract: A tool for use with a canning pot and a canning rack includes a pair of spaced-apart legs joined at a handle adapted for manipulation by a user. The spaced-apart legs terminate at a hook, which is adapted to grasp the rack and operable to place and remove the rack in the canning pot. A canning system includes a canning pot, a canning rack, and a rack lifter including a pair of tools, each including a pair of legs joined by a handle and terminating in a hook operable to grasp the rack. A method for canning food includes heating a first quantity of water in a canning pot, placing at least one jar in a canning rack, and placing the canning rack including the at least one jar in a first quantity of water using a pair of tools for selectively grasping the canning rack.

Abstract: A method and system for picking and placing vessels are provided. The system includes a gripper assembly mounted on a positioning mechanism. The gripper assembly includes a cylinder, a plurality of flexible gripping members extending from the cylinder in a spaced-apart relationship for receiving therebetween a vessel and holding it by friction, a piston slideably inserted inside the cylinder, and a plunger connected to and movable with the piston and extending between the gripping members for engaging the vessel. The method includes the steps of positioning the gripper assembly, picking up and transferring a vessel, and placing, seating and releasing the vessel. The contents of the vessel may also be mixed simultaneously during the transferring of the vessel.

Abstract: A holder for a beverage or drink container having an appearance suggestive of a high-heeled shoe comprises a base having a substantially planar lower surface and an opposite upper surface containing a receptacle configured to slidably receive the lower end portion of the container. An elongated handle is disposed adjacent to the base, and includes an upper end disposed above the upper surface of the base, and an opposite, substantially planar lower end disposed co-planar with the lower surface of the base. The base is rigidly connected to the upper end of the handle by an arcuate web. First, second and third straps are arranged on the holder to capture the container in the holder and restrain it against lateral movement. The holder can be manufactured inexpensively using a wide variety of manufacturing techniques and a wide variety of strong, decorative materials.

The holder is configured to be held and operated by right and left handed persons. In use, the cup grasping portion of the holder is urged downwardly onto a portion of the perimeter of a cup edge. The specimen is firmly grasped thereby. Upon collection of the specimen, the extension is urged toward the handle so as to open cooperating and opposing cup holding members. In this fashion, the specimen cup and collected specimen are released and the holder is disposed of.

Abstract: A portable device for holding a liquid container, comprising a substantially rigid vertical handle manually graspable by a user, a substantially rigid top container gripping member extending horizontally from the upper end of the vertical handle, a substantially rigid bottom container gripping member or base member extending horizontally from the lower end of the vertical handle, and an attachable container gripping member to provide additional support, if desired, wherein the top container gripping member, the bottom container gripping member or base container holding member and the attachable container gripping member are identically oriented.
