Abstract: A method for unloading a payload at a loading station includes selecting the payload to be unloaded from different payloads and registering a total target quantity of the selected payload to be unloaded at the loading station as a target quantity unit, a current total quantity of the selected payload that has already been unloaded at the loading station as an actual quantity unit, a number of already performed unloading procedures corresponding to a quantity of the selected payload that has already been unloaded at the loading station, or a difference between the target quantity unit and the actual quantity unit.

Abstract: A device for commercial waste collection has a first container and a second container. A lid covers the first container. A first pair of lifting sleeves is attached to side surfaces of the first container for lifting the first container. A second pair of lifting sleeves is attached to side surfaces of the second container and positioned below the first pair of lifting sleeves. A third pair of lifting sleeves is attached to the side surfaces of the first container and aligned with the second pair of lifting sleeves. The second pair of lifting sleeves and the third pair of lifting sleeves are used together to lift both the first container and the second container together.

In one embodiment, gussets connect pockets to bevel walls, connecting the side walls to front and rear walls of the dumpster. The bevel walls are stronger than the side walls of the dumpster. Other embodiments disclose gussets integral with front and rear walls of the dumpster for improved strength. Other embodiments disclose removable, separately formed sleeves that are secured to the sides of the dumpster to form pockets for receiving the forks of a truck.

Either an edge of the roof (6) or a top edge of a wall (5), or both, is provided with a bevelled surface (8a, 8b) against which a fork arm of a forklift truck may be supported, the bevelled surface (8a, 8b) being arranged to guide the fork arm of the forklift truck to the underside of the top surface of the roof (6) to allow the roof (6) to be lifted by the fork arm of the forklift truck.

Abstract: A unitary plastic container, which is optionally used for waste collection comprises a base, a front wall, a back wall and two opposing side walls, each wall extending upwardly from the base to define an open container top and an interior container volume. Each side wall has an outwardly extending sidewall portion which is outwardly offset relative to the rest of the container side wall. In each outwardly extending sidewall portion, an elongated cutout, indentation or channel is present. The elongated channel has a forward opening, a rearward opening and an elongated side opening extending from the forward opening to the rearward opening. The elongated channel lies within the interior container volume and divides the outwardly extending sidewall portion into two areas: an upper outwardly extending sidewall portion and a lower outwardly extending portion. The outwardly open elongate channel may be fitted with a reinforcing sleeve.

Abstract: A rotatable container holder for recyclable materials, such as plastic bottles and aluminum cans, having a container holder frame support and a container holder frame attached rotatably to the container holder frame support. The recyclable materials can be inspected, sorted, and transferred by a single user by placing a holding container with recyclables into the container holder frame and rotating the container holder frame so that the user can reach into the holding container and remove items, while allowing the recyclable materials to pour into a receiving container. A cover can also be placed on the container so that the container and container cover can be rotated from a vertical position towards a horizontal position or rotated yet further towards an inverted vertical position, allowing the recyclable materials to tumble back and forth, causing debris among the materials, or liquids within the materials, to fall through openings in the container and container cover.

Abstract: An apparatus is for use with a container of liquid that is suspended from an aircraft flying over a ground target area. The container has an outlet through which the liquid is dropped from the container. The apparatus includes a diffuser configured to diffuse the liquid exiting the container outlet horizontally outward beyond the container into the air above the ground target area, whereby the liquid is diffused over a correspondingly wide area. The liquid can be fire extinguishing liquid, and the ground target area can be a forest fire.
