Abstract: The present disclosure provides a canopy locking assembly suitable to be installed on a baby carrier. The baby carrier includes a handle and a foldable canopy mechanism at least having a folded state and an unfolded state. The canopy locking assembly includes a locking member and a matching member that are separable and lockable, the locking member is installed on the canopy mechanism, the matching member is installed on the handle. The locking member moves relatively close to the matching member when the canopy mechanism is switched from the folded state to the unfolded state, and the canopy mechanism is kept in the unfolded state constantly when the locking member and the matching member are locked. The canopy locking assembly can keep the canopy mechanism unfolded constantly when in use to avoid from being folded by accident. In addition, the present disclosure further provides a baby carrier.

Abstract: A child protection system is provided with a cover member that is interchangeable between different child carriers, such as an infant car seat and a stroller. The interchangeable cover member protects a child occupant from sun, wind, weather, insects, germs and provides privacy. The cover member is removably coupled to an anchor member, such as a canopy, of an infant car seat when in a first position. The cover member is removably coupled to an anchor member, such as a bumper bar, of a stroller when in a second position.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention illustrate a canopy apparatus for a child car seat providing a cover on an infant car seat and/or a sunshade over a child car seat comprising a cover body, two headrest covers connected at opposing ends of the cover body, an attachment mechanism and a tie. The attachment mechanism may be wrapped around a handle of an infant car seat while the cover body drapes down over the car seat providing a cover. The headrest covers may be placed on a first headrest and a second headrest at opposing sides in a vehicle, respectively, enabling the cover body to hang above the child car seat while the left and right side of the cover body drapes over the child car seat creating a shade. The tie may be tied to a grab handle to provide further security and headroom.

Abstract: A temperature sensing child safety seat for preventing hyperthermia and hypothermia includes a safety seat that is configured to secure a child in a vehicle. The safety seat comprises a base that defines an interior space. A power module, a microprocessor, and a communications module are coupled to the base and positioned in the interior space. A plurality of sensors is coupled to the safety seat. The microprocessor is operationally coupled to the power module, the communications module, and the sensors. The sensors are configured to measure a temperature and to communicate a temperature reading to the microprocessor. The microprocessor is positioned, in an event the temperature reading deviates from a prespecified range, to compel the communications module to alert emergency personnel.

Abstract: A protective cover is described which can be secured onto a car seat or other similar seating apparatus. The cover has multiple layers which are rollable to allow different levels of exposure of the infant to the external environment.

Abstract: The invention consists of an infant carrier/harness that incorporates sound speakers on the interior portion of the carrier, where the baby places his or her back; additionally, there is a “halo” speaker that is incorporated into a Head Cover of the carrier which completes the overall sound experience; it also serves to block out light. The speakers connect to a sound/white noise apparatus—or can connect to a mobile phone, or other portable device to produce sound, creating an ambient and constant “shush” sound. The object of the sound and cover is to re-create a womb-like experience. The infant carrier harness will also have the ability to plug in a mobile device to play other sounds and or music.

The exhalation valve comprising a valve seat, a valve seal, and a valve cover. The window is placed within the cover and is a transparent thermoplastic. The cover may further comprise a plurality of ribbons to hold the cover away from an infant in the infant carrier. The cover may further comprise a rod and a receiver. The cover may further comprise a powered air supply and a supply structure. The supply structure is integral to the cover and houses the powered air supply. The valve seat may be affixed directly to the cover or the window.

Abstract: Disclosed is an interchangeable stimulation system for child carriers that integrates an easily interchangeable stimulation device with a child carrier, such as a car seat, a carriage or stroller, a child swing, a crib, a playpen, or other child carrying device. The interchangeability of the system allows for display of stimulation devices that are particularly configured to stimulate children that are within distinct, defined age groups without requiring replacement of the stimulation system.

Abstract: A protecting cover for an infant seat is disclosed. The seat cover overlays an infant seat and downwardly extends along the sides of the infant seat. The seat cover comprises an elasticized or drawstring bottom hem in order to be secured in place. The cover comprises an opening acting as a chimney allowing air circulation. The opening is generally located on the top portion of the seat cover, substantially over the position of the infant head. The infant seat cover comprises a pair of recloseable body flaps located between the periphery of the opening and the bottom of the infant seat. The cover fits over the upper perimeter of the infant seat and substantially covers the infant. The cover is designed with a multilayer semi rigid insulating material able to maintain its shape and not interfere with the infant's movements.

Abstract: An improved child car seat, sun-protecting system, in which is retractable and adaptable. This novel car seat sunshade can attach to any type of child car seat or high back booster seat. This car seat sunshade retracts when it's not in use, and extends out when needed. With its compact design, it can still fully retract even with a vehicle incorporating rear seat headrests. It has its own self-supporting frame and changeable sunshade panels to better suite the child's sun shading requirements. These different size removable and changeable sunshade panels are also adjustable in height and could double the child's sun block protection. The front panel is height adjustable to protect the child's eyes from the sun entering the front windshield of the vehicle. This car seat sunshade has an adjustable top opening to increase the sunshades top ventilation and the child's overhead visibility. It's easy to install and is buckled and secured to the car seat by just one strap.

Abstract: A screen adapted for an engagement upon a handled car seat for an infant or child which is also engageable to a window of a vehicle to shade occupants from light transmitted through the window. The screen is formed of a planar sheet of shading material and is configured to engage with and provide a gripable access to a portion of the seat handle. The screen is engageable with a window of the vehicle using opposing hooks thereon which are positioned to impart a fold across the middle of the sheet of material.

The covering may include a sheet of flexible fabric having a top surface, a bottom surface, an outer periphery defining an opening through which a portion of the child seat may be received, a coupling mechanism at the outer periphery, and a pocket. The coupling mechanism may be configured to secure the sheet about the child seat by constricting about a portion of the child seat and the pocket may be coupled to the sheet to permit the sheet to be folded and stowed within the pocket.

Abstract: An infant carrier apparatus comprises a support frame, a seat assembly and handle assembly respectively connected with the support frame, a backrest frame, and a child holding accessory. The child holding accessory can be detachably installed on the infant carrier apparatus, supported by the backrest frame and the handle assembly. In one embodiment, the child holding accessory includes a support bracket and an enclosure. For installing the child holding accessory, the backrest frame is adjusted to a position inclined forward. The child holding accessory can be then installed between the backrest frame and the handle assembly, wherein the child holding accessory has two opposite end portions respectively connected with the backrest frame and the handle assembly.

Abstract: An all weather sunshade system for infant carriers includes a main sunshade that is pivotally attached to the infant carrier and an integrally provided sunshade extension. The main sunshade is selectively deployable and includes curved semi-rigid members which support a fabric material and includes a front edge. A rear edge of the sunshade extension is secured along the front edge of the main sunshade structure and is sized and shaped so that it may be selectively drawn forward, when the main sunshade is fully deployed, and secured around a front portion of the infant carrier. In doing so, the sunshade extension remains taut following the contours defined by the shape of the front edge of the main sunshade and the perimeter shape of the front edge of the infant carrier.

The example canopy clip includes a first end, a second end and at least one protrusion between the first end and the second end dimensioned to selectively engage a first of the indentations of the track to fix the canopy at a first height.

A canopy has a hood with an open front end, a plurality of sections, and a pair of canopy sides positioned adjacent the sides of the seat. The hood extends above and is positionable to cover the seat back part of the seating surface. A privacy screen has a perimeter with an extendable portion and an attachment portion, which removably attaches the privacy screen to the canopy near the open front end. The privacy screen can be extended forward from the open front end to a deployed position above and covering the seat bottom part of the seating surface. The extendable portion of the perimeter can be pulled forward and secured to the front edge of the seat.

Abstract: One embodiment of a protective cover for covering a baby in a baby carrier includes a canopy, a mesh, a flap, and an attaching mechanism. The canopy has a first cutout portion and a second cutout portion. The canopy is capable of spanning around the baby carrier such that a portion of a handle of the baby carrier protrudes out of the first cutout portion for enabling a caregiver to carry the baby carrier from the handle. The second cutout portion enables the caregiver to monitor the baby in the baby carrier. The mesh is disposed on the second cutout portion for shielding the baby in the baby carrier. The flap is attached at a top portion of the canopy for removably covering the mesh. The attaching mechanism is configured for attaching the canopy to the baby carrier.

Abstract: An infant carrier seat with removable cover to provide an adjustable protection to infants from physical surrounding such as sunlight, wind and insects, the carrier seat having a base portion, a sun shade and a handle portion, the removable cover for infant carriers consists essentially of a bunting portion having a top end, a bottom end and a flat face portion formed integrally with a skirt portion, the flat face portion having an opening for providing access to an infant's head portion, the skirt portion having a lower edge, the lower edge of the skirt portion further comprising an elastic tape or band and an elongated overlay having a proximal end mechanically secured at the top end of the bunting portion, the overlay further having a distal end, the overlay further having retaining means located adjacent the proximal end of the overlay, whereby when deployed the overlay can be unrolled to cover an infant in a seat and when not in use the overlay can be rolled up from the distal end and retained together b
