Abstract: An electric shaver including a plurality of motors and corresponding number of shearing units each substantially comprising an inner cutter and an outer cutter. The inner cutter of each one of the shearing units is directly connected to one of the motors so that each inner cutter is directly driven by each motor. The shearing units are arranged, for example, so as to be at corners of a triangle in the head portion of the shaver housing.
Abstract: An electric shaving apparatus comprises at least one drivable shaving member, a first housing section which accommodates the drive mechanism for the shaving member and a detachable second housing section which accommodates an electric power source, for example a rechargeable battery, a switching device, which comprises an actuating member, being arranged in an electric circuit which also includes the drive mechanism and the power source and a contact member. The actuating member is arranged on a wall of the first housing section and is detachably coupled to the contact member in the second housing section by mechanical means.
Abstract: An electric dry shaver is described having an improved skin stretcher for enhancing performance of the shaver. The skin stretcher includes a slide body which can be positioned for effecting the skin stretching function or retracted for enabling the shaver to be used at difficult to reach body sites.
