  • Patent number: 11812579
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for locking rack-mounted electronic devices within a rack upon removal of one of the electronic devices from the rack. The apparatus includes a shaft rotatably connected to the rack and provided at each slot position with a set of paddles, including a locking paddle and a trigger paddle. With the rack populated with devices, the removal of one device from a slot causes a block attached to the device to urge against a trigger paddle, which rotates the shaft. As the shaft continues to rotate, with the motion of the block caused by the removal of the device, the locking paddle for each slot is rotated into a position such that an attempt to remove any of the other devices from the rack causes the associated block to abut the locking paddle, which does not yield.

  • Patent number: 11761245
Abstract: A door lock system includes a shaft and a cam. The cam is supported on the shaft for rotation with the shaft, and for movement along the shaft throughout a range of door lock release locations. A selector engages the cam to move the cam along the shaft upon rotation of the selector. An actuator lock has a closed condition blocking rotation of the shaft, and has an open condition permitting rotation of the shaft. The actuator lock prevents rotation of the cam at any of the door lock release locations when the actuator lock is in the closed condition.

  • Patent number: 10638838
Abstract: A retraction device for a drawer mechanism comprises a spring-loaded carriage that can be moved in the push-in/pull-out direction for temporary coupling to an inner rail of the drawer mechanism. The carriage can be clocked in a retraction position by means of a locking slide that can be moved transverse to the push-in/pull-out direction in a guide. For coupling to the inner rail the carriage has at least one pivot element, which can be pivoted about an axis oriented perpendicular to the push-in/pull-out direction and perpendicular to the direction of movement of the locking slide. The pivot element and guide are arranged in such a manner that, in a locking position, the locking slide blocks a pivoting movement of the pivot element.

  • Patent number: 10145149
Abstract: A cammed lever is configured to nest and lock with a cam follower at a recess formed on the cammed lever or the cam follower. Upon rotation of the lever, the cam follower and the cammed lever are disengaged at the recess to form a gap when the cammed lever is rotated upon outward movement of a drawer or drawer slide. The lock assembly includes the cammed lever and cam follower in a stacked array for use in a storage unit having multiple drawers. Preferably, only one drawer is permitted to open in the stacked array. The cammed lever, when unlocked, is permitted to rotate between the open and closed positions. When locked, the cam follower prevents rotation of the cammed lever to an open position. An optional sliding bracket is provided for added security when the drawers are locked.

  • Patent number: 8746816
Abstract: An anti-tip lock assembly for a storage compartment includes a pair of geared actuators mounted on a base abutting against a follower. The follower and the base are configured to travel a limited distance along a vertical track installed in a storage unit. When the compartment is closed, the actuators are aligned with the track. When the compartment is opened, the actuators are moved out of alignment to block access to the moving components of the assembly. When the anti-tip lock assembly is operational, the array of like anti-tip assemblies in the track allow displacement of only one pair of actuators to occupy the limited distance at one time. A security bar array interacts with the actuators and other assemblies in the storage unit, to prevent simultaneous opening of two or more compartments. Abstract: A cabinet with electrical locks forms a first through hole larger than a diameter of a horizontal rod for manually lifting a longitudinal track to unlock. A second through hole larger than a diameter of a pivoting arm for lifting the longitudinal track mechanically is also formed. Thereby, the first and the second through holes provide excess space for the horizontal rod and the pivoting arm, so the horizontal rod and the pivoting arm may not interfere each other when driven to lift the longitudinal track up. Thus, the pivoting arm may not be damaged when the longitudinal track is lifted manually.

An actuator having an actuating surface co-operates with an actuator follower slidably supported in the slide member for movement at right angles to the movement of the plate. Releasable latching means extends between the housing and plate. Releasable catching means extend between the plate and the actuator. When a drawer is moved towards an open position, the catching means causes the plate to move to a blocking position where it can be held by the latching means, causing the actuating surface to co-operate with a follower surface on the actuator follower to move the actuator follower from a first position to a blocking position.

Abstract: An arresting apparatus of multilayer drawers. Several drawers are slidably mounted in a cabinet. A linear rail is disposed on inner face of a backboard of the cabinet body. Several movable members are slidably mounted on the linear rail. The bottom section of the movable member abuts against the head section of an adjacent movable member. The bottom section of each movable member is formed with a working slope. The working slope and the linear rail define a notch. An arresting member of each drawer can be guided into the notch and located between two adjacent movable members by a locating member of the movable member.

  • Patent number: 7140700
Abstract: An interlocking system for preventing simultaneous opening of drawers of a cabinet, including activation members affixable to back sides of the drawers and coupled to carriage members slideably mounted in guide supports affixable in the cabinet behind the drawers in respective registration with the activation members. An elongated track member affixable in the cabinet on a side of the guide supports slideably guides a stack of mobile blocks between which bolt elements projecting from the carriage members are driveable only one at a time due to a limited space provided for displacement of the blocks and for insertion of one of the bolt elements. The carriage members slide using the pulling and pushing motions of the activation members when the drawers are opened and closed. Due to the limited space, only one bolt element is insertable between the mobile blocks and only one drawer is openable at a same time.

  • Patent number: 6979064
Abstract: A drawer interlock mechanism comprises a fixation base, an axial cam, two braking slides and a guiding switch. The axial cam is put into a holding groove of the fixation base, so a big column and a small column are respectively placed into the position-limiting groove on top surface of the holding groove. The two braking slides are put in a slide groove of the fixation base, so when the axial cam rotates 90 degrees, its moving and stopping blocks move the two braking slides outward. The guiding switch is locked with the slide at the front. Its side has a guiding groove and a curved groove, which correspondingly match the big column and the small column, so they move according to the path lead by the curved slide groove and the guiding slide groove and the axial cam can rotate 90 degrees.

  • Patent number: 6966619
Abstract: A pull-out safeguard for a drawer cabinet, having a multiplicity of elements (20) which are arranged essentially in a row and can be displaced, a guide means (40) for guiding the elements (20), adjusting elements (50) which are connected to the drawers (12) to be secured, for adjusting the vertical position of the elements (20), and a restricting means (26) for restricting the displaceability of the elements (20). The adjusting elements (50) interact with the drawers (12) to be secured in such a manner that at the beginning of a pull-out movement of one of the drawers (12) to be secured, they move one of the elements (20) and all of the other elements (20) which are situated in one of the directions of the row, but, after a certain pull-out position of the pulled-out drawer (12), are moved back into their starting position by the gravitational force and/or the spring force of a spring element and/or a different driver driving back the elements (20).

  • Patent number: 6957877
Abstract: This invention relates a braking slide structure of the drawer interlock wherein the braking slide is composed of detachable bracket board and the insert sleeve. The bracket board is designed with a guide channel formed by side walls and with the guide stud to limit the bracket board sliding off the bracket. This drawer interlock is mounted on the drawer slides and rails, entailing additional installation of a pair of braking slides. The drawer interlock is an integral element fixed on the drawer for simplified assembly and operation. The braking rod is easy to be inserted into the insert sleeve linking to the top of the bracket board. The bracket board exposes to the outside of the slide hole on the bracket which is easy for the braking rod to slip into the insert sleeve and reach to the top of the bracket board with no space restraint.
