Abstract: “The Fold Up Dormitory” is intended for use in situations where living and working quarters for a small or large number of people are required on short notice or irregular intervals. The apparatus is made of wood, steel and premanufactured hardware, and comprises components for sleeping, working and storage of small items. It is mobile, simple to operate and offers many options to those who use it. The apparatus comprises: a central core; a pair of folding frames, each pivotally connected to the central core on opposite sides thereof, for rotation about vertical frame-to-core axes of connection; a bed platform pivotally connected to a first side of the central core, for rotation about a horizontal bed-to-core axis of connection; a desk surface pivotally connected to a second side of the central core, for rotation about a horizontal desk-to-core axis of connection; and storage shelving within the central core.

Abstract: A modular furniture assembly includes at least one first component and a second component. The second component includes a cavity. The at least one first component and the second component are adaptable to be stowed in a compact stowed position such that the modular furniture assembly forms a geometric shape when in the stowed position. A method for forming a furniture assembly is also disclosed. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Abstract: The drawing horse and multi-task work station is adapted to support a planar board for use by a user. The station includes a generally rectangular, three dimensional central frame structure having a width small enough to be straddled by the user. Planar, rectangular end frame structures are mounted on either end of the central frame structure. The end frame structures include upwardly extending frame portions with a pair of extending end posts thereat. In one embodiment, the work station is provided with a removable drafting board system having pivotal end support elements, supporting the drafting board thereon, mounted to left and right side cross support beams. The cross support beams are removably mounted on the end posts of the end frame structures with end post caps. The caps are at either end of the cross support beams. In another embodiment, the station includes a tray.

Abstract: The present specification discloses a children's furniture comprises a plurality of stalls, each stall defined by three walls and sharing a common wall with an adjacent stall. Each stall has a shelf, coat hooks, a seat and a storage area. Children can sit on the seat to put on and remove their shoes, and will store their shoes in the storage area under the seat. They can also hang their coats on the hooks provided here, and put their books and other belongings on the shelves.
