  • Patent number: 11600896
Abstract: An antenna system includes an antenna and an antenna control apparatus. The antenna control apparatus includes a control circuit, i.e., a control integrated circuit. The control circuit adjusts and boosts an antenna voltage to supply a required current to the antenna. The antenna voltage is maintained so as not to exceed a predetermined upper limit voltage threshold value. The control circuit is configured to determine a disconnection failure on the antenna when the antenna voltage detected by an overvoltage detection circuit reaches the upper limit voltage threshold value, or is boosted beyond the upper limit voltage threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11175314
Abstract: The invention involves a multimeter with a meter probe module and phasing probe module capable of wireless communication, proximity measurements, and accurately reading phase degrees. The meter probe module and the phasing probe module can communicate wirelessly, via a wired cable interface, or any combination thereof. The meter probe module and phasing probe module have unique radio frequency serial numbers that allow the probe modules to only communicate with its paired partner probe module while ignoring all other probe modules. The multimeter has a measurement point capable of taking direct contact measurements. The multimeter also has a measurement point capable of taking a voltage measurement without directly contacting the object to be measured. This is accomplished by taking voltage readings from the electric field of the air surrounding said object. The improved multimeter may allow an operator to more safely gather accurate information about an object being measured.

Abstract: A voltage detection circuit comprises a plurality of even-number voltage detection nodes, at least one odd-number voltage detection node, a voltage differential generation circuit, a selection circuit and a computing circuit. The selection circuit is for controlling the coupling relationship between the voltage differential generation circuit and the even and odd-number voltage detection nodes, so that the voltage differential generation circuit generates a voltage differential between the nodes. The computing circuit knows a voltage of a first even-number voltage detection node being as a reference voltage or obtains the voltage of the first even-number voltage detection node on the basis of the reference voltage, and respectively obtains a voltage of the nodes on the basis of the voltage differential between two adjacent nodes and the obtained voltage of a first even-number voltage detection node.

Abstract: A separation-type avometer includes a manipulation device and a measurement main body. The manipulation device includes a selection module, a first wireless module, and a window module. The measurement main body includes a measurement module, a second wireless module, and an automatic determining and switching module. The first wireless module transmits a measurement mode selected through the selection module to the second wireless module of the measurement main body. The automatic determining and switching module switches the measurement mode of the measurement module according to the selected measurement mode. After the measurement is completed, the second wireless module transmits signal data measured by the measurement main body to the first wireless module of the manipulation device, so as to use the window module to display the signal data measured by the measurement main body.

Abstract: A resistance measuring circuit includes a current generating component, a current control component, and a voltage measurement component. The magnitude of a target resistance can be measured by connecting the target resistance between first and second measurement terminals of the resistance measuring circuit, applying a current generated by the current generating component to the target resistance, and determining the voltage across the target resistance. When no target resistance is connected between the first and second measurement terminals, the current control component controls the current generating component to reduce current consumption of the resistance measuring circuit.

Abstract: A multimode electronic measuring instrument is provided that includes a ratiometric mode of operation. During the ratiometric mode, a desired dimension is established as a stored reference dimension Xref. After the reference dimension is stored in memory, subsequent ratiometric measurement readouts will equal a current measurement distance Xcurr divided by the reference dimension Xref. A persistent number of decimal places used to the right of the decimal point as seen on a display is determined based on a current reference dimension Xref, an increment used for the least significant digit, and an internal measurement resolution of the multimode electronic measuring instrument.
