The hanger bar is configured to reciprocate with different amplitudes and periods depending on a number of times that the motor rotates.

The NFC reader receives sensor data from the NFC tag and provides the sensor data to a controller, such that the controller can control the drying appliance based on the one or more parameters of the clothing inside the drum.

The heater has a fan in a blow thru arrangement ahead of a burner. The burner uses either natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas. The heater has air flow, fan motor, temperature, and ignition controls and sensors. The heater delivers high temperature air to the structure that hastens evaporation as the heated air absorbs great concentrations of water vapor. Then the moisture laden heated air exits the building as the heater draws in fresh air, ducts it into a structure, and pressurizes the structure. This moisture laden air then leaks from the building through select windows using the energy imparted from the fan and then exhausts the moisture to the atmosphere, drying the structure.

The retainer assembly comprises a conduit position mechanism for selectively positioning said air conduit; a position switch for switching apparatus-driving circuitry when said air conduit is positioned by said conduit positioning mechanism; and apparatus-driving circuitry for selectively and electrically powering the blow dryer apparatus either in a hand-held, dynamic drying mode or an assembly-held, static drying mode. The apparatus and apparatus-driving circuitry are electrically communicable with one another and a power source for powering the blow dryer apparatus.
