The optical path changer includes a base member, an optical member, and a swing frame that supports the optical member and is swingably supported relative to the base member. The vibration absorbing member has vibration absorbing surfaces that are in contact with the base member of the optical path changer, and the vibration absorbing surfaces are in contact with support surfaces of the linkage frame to cause the support surfaces to support the optical path changer.

    Abstract: A one-way display system includes a transparent screen and a transparent color filter. An image is emitted by the screen or projected onto the screen. The image is formed from a combination of colored lights. Instead of spanning all the wavelengths of each color, each light only spans a narrow band of the color. The color filter removes the narrow band so the image is only visible from one side of the screen. As the color filter removes only the narrow band, one can still look out and see objects on the other side of the screen minus the colors of the narrow band.

A plurality of overlay spacer and attaching strips (18) both join the overlay (16) to the top plate of the device (14) and raise the overlay off of the top plate so as to create an air pocket for placement of tabbed or untabbed inserts therebetween. The attached edges of the overlay and the top plate of the device are protected, and the peripheral seams are further reinforced by a protective cap (20) placed over and further reinforcing them.
