Abstract: A base assembly of an exterior rear view device includes a base frame, and a base cover housing the base frame and formed in at least two parts connected to each other, where the base assembly includes a first opening at a first end of the base assembly at which the base frame is configured to be attached to a vehicle and a second opening at a second end of the base assembly at which a head assembly of the exterior rear view device is configured to be attached to the base frame.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrical lamp for holding and displaying a collector's round (or oval) item. The lamp comprises a base assembly comprising a base and a bottom plate secured to a top surface of the base, a top assembly comprising a top plate, a lamp assembly comprising an electrical light bulb connected to the top plate, and a lamp shade encircling the light bulb, and a connecting means for connecting the top and base assemblies such that, the top and bottom plates are vertically aligned. The round item is adapted to be snugly and removably received between the top and bottom plates.

Abstract: The present invention provides a Christmas tree lighting decoration, which includes a base, an aqua light, and a decoration unit. The base receives therein a light-emitting element and a rotation mechanism. The aqua light is of a light-transmitting conic configuration and is mounted on the base. The decoration unit is helically around an outside surface of the aqua light and is mounted to the rotation mechanism to be rotated in unison therewith. As such, when the rotation mechanism of the base drives the decoration unit to rotate, a dynamic effect is generated. Further, the light-emitting element irradiates light onto the aqua light to provide a beautiful visual effect.

Abstract: A lighted furniture apparatus and kit having a base, a plurality of side panels, a top, and a lighting element. At least a portion of the side panels are at least partially light transmitting. The side panels include vertical edges, each defining a partially-enclosed rod-receiving passage. An elongated connecting rod is configured to be slidably received within the rod-receiving passages of two adjacent panels to secure them together. The lighting element may be disposed within the interior space formed by the base, side panels, and top.

Abstract: A counter includes a base and a countertop spaced from the base that has an edge that defines a border of the countertop. An edge or support collar is disposed between the base and the countertop, the edge collar including a light-transmissive band that extends along the border of the countertop. The light-transmissive band has an inner side and an outer side opposite the inner side that forms a stratified outer edge with the edge of the countertop. A light source is positioned adjacent the inner side of the edge collar and configured to emit light outward through the light-transmissive band.

Abstract: An illumination device for a multineedle sewing machine is disclosed. The sewing machine includes a plurality of needle bars having lower ends to which needles are attached respectively and a needle bar case supporting the needle bars so that the needle bars are movable upward and downward. The illumination device includes an illuminating member having a light source, and a support unit located in the needle bar case for supporting the illuminating member so that the illuminating member is switchable between an illuminating position where the illuminating member is located in front of the needle bars or the needles to illuminate a periphery of a needle point of the needle location point of the needle by the light source and a storage position where the illuminating member opens a front side of the needle bar or the needle and is located laterally with respect to the needle bar case.

Abstract: An under cabinet light fixture has a housing with outer surface portions thereof adapted to be positioned closely adjacent, spaced-apart from, and substantially parallel to a substantially planar support surface. The housing has a bottom access panel pivotally connected to it, with first and second panel portions so that the bottom access panel pivots between a closed operating condition and an open access condition. A reflector and lamp sockets are connected to the housing and the reflector is positioned to reflect and radiate light toward and through the second panel portion of the bottom access panel to provide enhanced visibility of light radiating from the support surface when the light fixture is in the operating position.

Abstract: A lighting system that includes a quick disconnect mounting feature that permits the relocation of the lighting fixture without rewiring or use of loose hardware. The lighting system is comprised of a housing that surrounds a power module and a control module, where the control module is electrically connected to a protocol module. A printed circuit board interface electrically connects the power module to the control module, and a light source is electrically connected to the PCB interface.

Abstract: A step stool with positionable lights and a rechargeable battery is carried upon retractable casters for suitable positioning and utility. A motion and timer switch is interposed between the battery and the positionable lights to allow the positionable lights to be illuminated only for a fixed period of time following movement of the step stool. The lights may be positionable as by adjustable brackets or by a cord reel assembly. The step stool has contact bands thereabout that are adapted for engagement with contacts in a charging station that is specifically configured to receive the step stool. Receipt of the step stool by the charging station activates a battery charger that serves to charge the battery of the step stool thereafter. A solenoid switch disconnects the lights of the step stool upon commencement of the charging operation.

Abstract: A lighting assembly includes a base plate having a longitudinal axis and a pair of linear edges equidistantly spaced therefrom. The linear edges extend parallel to the axis and along a longitudinal length of the plate. The linear edges are provided with a flange portion formed therewith and extending along a length thereof. The flange portions terminate at a predetermined distance above a top surface of the plate. Light fixtures are adjustably positional along the plate, and each of the fixtures has an LED housed therein. Slots are formed within the plate, and each of the slots has first, second, third and fourth segments aligned along offset quadrants. A mechanism slides the light fixtures within the slots and another mechanism locks the light fixtures within corresponding ones of the slots. A mechanism under mounts the linear edges to a bottom surface of a support.

Abstract: A lighted cabinet assembly includes a pair of spaced apart sidewalls and a top wall interconnecting the sidewalls. The sidewalls define an interior space therebetween and at least one shelf is supported between the sidewalls. The cabinet assembly further includes a base for supporting the cabinet assembly on a support surface. The base has an upper surface and a lower surface for facing the support surface. The sidewalls extend from the upper surface and are mounted to the base. In addition, each sidewall includes an elongate recess, which extends from the base up at least a portion of the sidewalls. At least one light strip is positioned in each of the recesses for illuminating at least a portion of the interior space of the cabinet assembly.

Abstract: The invention relates to an external rearview mirror having an illumination source capable of illuminating various portions of an vehicle and the surrounding area depending upon the operational status of the vehicle. The illumination source is adjustable to selectively illuminate predetermined areas of the vehicle and the surrounding area. Two sets of light-emitting diodes of selected colors can be arranged and controlled so that the first set of LEDs can be selectively illuminated as a turn signal indicator, and the first set and second set can be selectively illuminated so that the combined illumination forms a white light suitable for illumination, such as a “puddle light” or backup light.

Abstract: An apparatus for enhancing the beauty of marble by back lighting the marble to thereby cause the majority of the marble to be illuminated while the veins in the marble block the light and thereby stand out from the marble. A tower structure is comprised of marble walls which preferably are no thicker than 1/4 to 1/2 inch and are light colored such as white or light grey. The tower is hollow and further comprises a lighting fixture within it to provide of source of light to back light the rear interior marble walls, and thereby cause the light to shine through the marble surrounding the veins and enhance the beauty of the veins within the marble. The preferred source of lighting is fluorescent.

Abstract: A display and support assembly specifically designed to have ice sculptures or like objects, made from a "meltable" material at room temperature, mounted thereon wherein a collecting trough is built into a supporting housing in immediately adjacent and surrounding relation to the periphery of a support platform on which the object is mounted. An illumination assembly is disposed on the interior of the housing so as to direct light up through a supporting and retaining portion of a platform on which the sculpture is mounted. Accordingly, leakage, due to dripping, is eliminated through the collection thereof in the trough and display is enhanced through illumination of the ice sculpture.

Abstract: A free standing indirect lighting fixture utilizing a one-piece molded reflector and a diagonally mounted high intensity discharge lamp has a frosted diffuser over the lamp. Acoustic material on the fixture absorbs ballast hum as well as adding acoustic absorbtion to the room. A back lighted information strip may optionally be included.
