Abstract: An LED device holder, an LED lighting system and a method of manufacturing an LED lighting system are described herein. An LED lighting system includes a holder defining an aperture. The aperture has a perimeter and a fillet adjacent the perimeter. The fillet has a radius greater than or equal to 2.0 mm and less than or equal to 4.6 mm. An LED array is mechanically coupled to the holder. The LED array has a light emitting surface exposed through the aperture.

Abstract: A device reduces false positive memory error detections by using a masking unit and sensitivity mask data to exclude unused portions of the memory from the error detection computations. A device includes an error detection unit to read data from the memory and verify data integrity. The sensitivity mask data indicates unused portions of the memory. Unused portions of the memory may correspond with configuration data for unused portions of a programmable device. Each bit of the sensitivity mask data may indicate the usage of one or more bits of the data from the memory. In response to the mask data, the masking unit sets data from the unused portions of the memory to values that do not change the result of the error detection computations. This prevents any errors in data from the unused portions of the memory from raising an error signal.

Abstract: An illustration illuminator has a leg arrangement and a frame connected to the leg arrangement and extending upwardly and at a slant rearwardly away from the leg arrangement. A support surface is arranged at the front side of the frame for supporting an illustration to be illuminated. A light assembly is connected to the frame remote from the leg arrangement for illuminating the support surface. The light assembly has lamps emitting light rays and further has a front end with an outlet via which the light rays exit and impinge on the support surface. The light assembly has a reflector arranged relative to the lamps such that the light rays emitted by the lamps pass through the outlet only after having been reflected at least once on the reflector.
Abstract: A steering wheel controlled car light piloting system including a motor drive controlled by a control circuit linked to the steering column of the steering wheel of a motor car to turn the lights of the motor car through a transmission mechanism consisted of hydraulic cylinders, so as to coincide the positions of the lights of the motor car with the steering direction.
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling angular position of optical axis of a head lamp assembly for a motor vehicle. An actuator is supplied selectively with the atmospheric pressure and a negative pressure available from an intake conduit of an internal combustion engine thereby to produce corresponding mechanical displacements. A detector for detecting the angular position of the optical axis of the head lamp assembly responds to the mechanical displacements of the actuator to change-over successively the contact states of a plurality of paired electric contacts. A command unit for setting the angular position of the optical axis of the head lamp assembly is provided which includes a plurality of paired electric contacts connected in one-to-one correspondence to the paired contacts of the optical axis position detector. A signal for setting the optical axis of the head lamp assembly is produced in dependence on the contact states of the optical axis position detector.
Abstract: A beam-tilting device for headlights of a motor vehicle in which pneumatic modulators respond to the degree of chassis loading, i.e. to the degree of vehicle spring compression and admit pressurized air or vacuum to one or the other side of a differential pressure servo mechanism which tilts the headlights in proportion to the differential load. In order to prevent unnecessary operation of the tilting mechanism during daylight operation of the vehicle, there is provided a monitor shutoff valve which is energized by the headlight switch and which blocks the supply of air to the modulators when the headlights are inoperative, thereby reducing wear and noise.
