Abstract: An illumination device having a pole mount, a light support that extends from the pole mount, a lighting unit is connected to the pole mount, and a solar panel assembly is mounted to the lighting unit. The pole mount is adapted to be fitted to poles having different diameters. In another embodiment an illumination apparatus is provided having a pole mount and a lighting assembly, and the pole mount has a first clamp half and a second clamp half. A hinge joins the first half and the second clamp half together and the first clamp half and the second clamp half are movable from an open clamp position to a closed clamp position. When in the closed clamp position the pole mount clamp defines a pole opening. A first light support extends from the first clamp half and a light emitting assembly is supported by the first light support.

Abstract: A vehicle-roof mounting-base, for supporting sign or light elements, that uses vacuum evacuation to adhere the vehicle-roof mounting-base to a vehicle roof. The vacuum evacuation is accomplished by using a continuous, gas impermeable seal between the lower surface of the vehicle-roof mounting-base and the vehicle roof. A vacuum pump then partially evacuates the volume enclosed by the continuous seal, the vehicle roof, and the lower surface of the vehicle-roof mounting-base, providing sufficient retention force to hold the vehicle-roof mounting-base to the vehicle roof.

  • Patent number: 9194538
Abstract: The invention is a universal holder that can mount diverse objects onto diverse surfaces. The holder comprises two cylindrical clamps made of tensile material, i.e. its jaws may be stretched apart and will spring back with compressive and/or holding force, such that almost any object may be gripped and mounted on almost any surface. Because they are curved yet tensile, the clamps can hug curved objects or surfaces, as well as grip flat objects with compressive force. The clamps are connected such that they are rotatable 360 degrees with respect to each other, and one clamp is slidable around the surface of the other. The rotatable and slidable configuration provides versatility, allowing objects to be mounted for different purposes and in different configurations.
