  • Patent number: 8934220
Abstract: An electronic device is provided which firmly holds a battery pack at the time of mounting the battery pack, and can easily eject the battery pack at the time of ejection. When a battery pack 11 is housed in a battery compartment 21, and a cover 30 is slid from an attachment start position P1 to an attachment completion position P0 to cover the battery compartment 21, a regulation member 32 disposed on a rear surface 301 of the cover 30 is engaged with a battery pack locking claw 221 of a battery pack holding member 22, which locks an upper surface 11A of the battery pack 11. As a result, the movement of the battery pack holding member 22 in a direction of disengaging the battery pack locking claw 221 is regulated so that the battery pack 11 can be surely prevented from coming off from the battery compartment 21. Also, when the cover 30 moves to the attachment start position P1, the regulation member 32 is also moved and disengaged from the battery pack locking claw 221.

  • Patent number: 7864522
Abstract: A hard disk drive holder includes a main body, a spindle mounted to the main body and slidable between first and second positions, a handle rotatably connected to the main body via the spindle, a hook mounted to the handle, and first and second elastic members. The handle includes a locking tongue. The handle moves between closed and opened positions relative to the main body. When the handle is at the closed position, if the spindle is slid from the first position to the second position, the locking tongue gradually extends outside from the main body. When the handle is at the closed position, if the spindle is not at the first position, the hook can hook the main body. The first elastic member biases the spindle to slide to the second position. The second elastic member biases the handle to rotate to the opened position.

  • Patent number: 6826766
Abstract: In a disk apparatus in which either a large-diameter disk or a small-diameter disk can be loaded, a pair of detecting projections and a pair of positioning projections are provided in a disk loading path, and a pair of selection grooves are formed in a chassis. Each of the selection grooves includes a first guide groove and a second guide groove. The positioning projections operate inside the first grooves when the opposing distance between the detecting projections is increased by a small-diameter disk, and they are pressed into the second guide grooves by the peripheral edge of the large-diameter disk when the opposing distance is increased by a large-diameter disk. The small-diameter disk is positioned by the positioning projections placed in the first guide grooves, and the large-diameter disk is positioned by the positioning projections placed in the second guide grooves.

  • Patent number: 6826765
Abstract: A disk player compatible with two types of large and small diameter disks is provided. A startup arm 20 is transversely moved by a selection arm 50 turned by abutment of a side edge of a large diameter disk 14b. Then, the startup arm 20 turning together with a shift bar 17 moved to be pushed at the front edge of the disk 14b is longitudinally moved. A cam follower pin 25 is engagingly locked with a pocket 53c by a spring 24, and the startup arm 20 is constrained in cooperation with a swivel shaft 22, whereby the shift bar 17 is restricted, and the center of the large diameter disk is positioned. The small diameter disk 14a restricts the shift bar 17 by the startup arm 20 by which the cam follower pin 25 is engagingly locked with the pocket 43c by the spring 24 irrespective of the selection arm 50. The center of the small diameter disk is positioned at the same central position as that of the large diameter disk.

  • Patent number: 6820272
Abstract: A stopper structure is constructed at a lateral side of an upper cover of a disc drive housing to prevent a flying-away disc from leaving the housing. The stopper structure with a predetermined inward-angle tip can generate a lift to drive the disc away from an aperture located between the upper cover and a base tray while hitting the lateral side. Thereby, the straying disc can thus be self-locked inside the housing.
