Abstract: An objective is to provide a terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system in which the time taken by connection operations/authentication operations does not increase proportionally with the pattern length, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized. A terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system according to the present invention create n pieces of signal information (n-bit patterns) by sequentially shifting each bit of a single piece of received signal information (n-bit pattern) one bit at a time. Through the above, signal information time-shifted by one bit each is obtained. Thus, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized, one of the n pieces of signal information is a signal synchronized with the transmitting side. • Patent number: 11906645
Abstract: In one example embodiment, a certified location service enables a mobile device to access a location-based service when a determined location meets a location requirement and an overall confidence score for the determined location exceeds a confidence threshold. A data package is received including identifiers of beacons observed by the mobile device, and a location of the mobile device is determined based on a calculated location of one or more of the beacons. An overall confidence score for the determined location is calculated based on one or more individual confidence scores for the one or more beacons used in determining the location or composite confidence scores for types of the one or more beacons. The determined location and the overall confidence score are provided to one or more provider servers that allow the mobile device to access a location-based service based thereon.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and related apparatus. The data transmission method is applied to a communications system. An access point in the communications system includes a first communications apparatus and a second communications apparatus, and a station in the communications system includes a third communications apparatus and a fourth communications apparatus. The data transmission method includes that after failing to send a first data frame to the third communications apparatus through a first channel, the first communications apparatus retransmits the first data frame, and sends a same second data frame to the second communications apparatus. The first communications apparatus receives a first notification message sent by the second communications apparatus. The first communications apparatus stops, in response to the first notification message, sending the first data frame.

  • Patent number: 11909719
Abstract: Techniques and technologies for an Internet Protocol (IP) address management (IPAM) system to track and manage IP address workflows in a network. The IPAM system can be used to define and enforce management policies or rules regarding IP address management, such as allocation policies, refill policies, and so forth. For instance, the IPAM system can enforce allocation policies that define rules to allow or deny allocation of IP addresses based on types of resources for which the IP addresses are requested, registered user accounts that are requesting the IP addresses, the purpose of the resources receiving the IP addresses, and so forth. Additionally, the IPAM system can enforce refill policies that define rules for replenishing inventories of IP addresses that have been allocated for different domains in the network. The IPAM system can improve the management of IP address workflows by enforcing policy and tracking IP address workflows in networks.

  • Patent number: 11902016
Abstract: A range is determined between two unsynchronized communications terminals in which a first terminal transmits a range request to a second terminal. The first terminal stores a first timestamp in memory corresponding to a time at which the range request message was transmitted. A range response is later received by the first terminal from the second terminal. The range response includes a residence time that characterizes an amount of time the second terminal required to send the range response after receiving the range request. The first terminal later stores a second timestamp in memory corresponding to a time at which the range response was received. Based on the second timestamp minus the first timestamp and the residence time, a roundtrip time for the range request is calculated. This roundtrip time can be used to calculate a distance between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the roundtrip time.
