The housing includes a back plate including a mounting surface, a middle plate attached to the back plate, and a face plate attached to the middle plate, wherein the face plate is formed from a clear material and has a back surface and a front surface with the back surface positioned toward the middle plate and wherein a design is applied to the back surface of the face plate and is visible through the front surface of the face plate. The housing defines an interior housing volume and the number of sensors is positioned within the interior housing volume.

Abstract: A frame for a visual presentation device with a substantially flat viewing area demarcated by a viewing area border. The frame includes fasteners for fastening the frame in front of the viewing area. The frame has a finite material thickness in which a transparent opening is formed. The opening has a distal end that faces the presentation device and a proximal end that faces viewers. A range of viewing positions is created in which the proximal end of the transparent opening hides the distal end and the viewing area border, and only a portion of the viewing area smaller that the viewing area in full is visible through the proximal end of the transparent opening. The frame suppresses visual clues to actual viewing distance and an enhanced illusion of watching the real world through a window is created.

Abstract: A scarf comprising: (1) a length of fabric having a first end, a second end, a front surface defining a first opening, and a rear surface defining a second opening; and (2) a pocket disposed on the length of fabric. In various embodiments, when a wireless device is disposed within the pocket in a particular position, (1) the first opening is sized to allow a user to view at least a portion of a screen of the wireless device through the first opening; (2) the second opening is adapted so that the second opening aligns with a camera lens of the wireless device; and (3) the first opening and the second opening are adapted so that the user may operate the wireless device to cause the wireless device to use the camera lens to take a photograph through the second opening.

Abstract: A framed freshener provides a thermal formed cavity, or thermoplastic shell, carrying scented gel that fits into a picture frame. The present invention locates a fragrant gel in a thermal formed cavity or thermoplastic shell or container which is then placed within a suitably designed picture frame. Coupling a fragrance with a photo in a frame, the present invention seeks to foster memories in those who view the frame. Additionally, the shell carrying gel makes the frame a decorative air freshening device. The picture frame and the opening for the fragrance container can be die cut to any shape. An alternate embodiment has the shell supported in a wire frame upon a base.

Abstract: A hanging memorial for displaying pictures and ashes of the deceased, and storing keepsakes. The hanging memorial includes a frame and an urn; the urn being integrated into the frame. A lateral wall and a front panel of the frame define a storage volume in which keepsakes can be placed. Alternatively an internal storage box can define the storage volume. The frame further includes a frame insert that can be configured to display a physical painting or photograph, or configured to display digital pictures. The urn is removably attached or pivotally connected to the frame by an at least one bracket, such that the contents of the urn are readily accessible. The hanging memorial may further include a niche about which the at least one bracket is positioned and into which the urn is positioned. Alternative support mechanism may also be used in place of the at least one bracket.

Abstract: The present invention relates to artwork preservation, and more particularly to an artwork preservation system that utilizes vacuum and is particularly suited to framed artwork. The artwork preservation system includes: a pair of corrugated planar members constructed and arranged to overlap a front side and back side of an artwork; at least one securing element, such as hook and loop fastener, for mating the first and second corrugated boards when the artwork is placed there between; a layer of air cushioning; and a sealable bag. The system may further include a vacuum pump for removing air from the sealable bag.

Abstract: An interchangeable display system is disclosed, configured for mounting a display art frame to a door, or the like. The system is adapted to receive interchangeable art inserts, displays, etc., at the will of the proprietor without professional installation. The system provides a proprietor with the capability to customize a door, or the like, with a locking platform mechanism that enhances existing residential and commercial door design configurations. Access is provided to interchangeable art work, for example, without the industry standard to permanently fixate the artwork directly onto or within a door. The system is fixated on one side. The opposing side is, for example, a flanged matching backplate that is locked with a single or multiple sliding and locking hinge mechanism. A perimeter channel is disposed between the front and back frame plates to receive, for example, a translucent decorative art piece, that fits within the channel cavity.

Abstract: The present invention relates to artwork preservation, and more particularly to an artwork preservation system that utilizes vacuum and is particularly suited to framed artwork. The display is removable from the urn, and contains a sealable capsule for retaining a portion of cremated remains.

Abstract: A cremated remains memorial container including a box defining an upper box opening, a picture frame panel attached to the box such that a picture slot is defined between the picture frame panel, and a cover panel that is disposed in the picture slot and has an indented portion extending into the upper box opening. The cover panel is formed from an opaque material, and is slid into the picture slot after the cremated remains are inserted into the box, thereby obscuring the remains. A picture is then inserted in the remaining (residual) space between the cover panel and the picture frame through the picture slot opening. The indented portion of the cover panel engages with the inner edge of the upper box opening, whereby subsequent removal of the cover panel from the picture slot is resisted during removal/replacement of the picture.

Further, the body and the shelf may be portions of a unitary member. The display area is on the front of the vertical member of the L-shaped body whereas the horizontal member of the body defines an accessory shelf. In another preferred embodiment, a picture display apparatus for displaying a cross-stitched picture held on a stretcher frame is provided.

Abstract: The advertising panel is to display an advertising message and to diffuse a scent which is associated with the contents of the visually-displayed message. The inventive panel includes a parallelepiped volume containing: an assembly which is used to display an advertising message that is disposed opposite a display window, and at least one scent diffuser which is connected to a scent-diffusing element which is in turn installed opposite an opening in the panel, such as to diffuse a scented flow to the exterior. The diffusing element is connected to the head of the scent diffuser, thereby ensuring that a carrier gas is mixed with the scented fluid contained in the receptacle. The scented flow obtained at the outlet of the head is pulsed towards the diffusing element and, subsequently, to the exterior of the panel.
