Abstract: A packaging and distribution device, for example a device for treatment with an electric current, includes: a refill containing a product to be distributed, including a vessel defined at least partially by a flexible wall; a pressing member for pressing on the flexible wall in order to apply pressure to the product contained therein, wherein the pressing member includes two flaps hingedly connected to one another, each connected to a mechanical system biasing the flap to bear against the refill.

Abstract: A paint edging tool that deliver paint with sharp, clear edges at wall junctions. The paint edging tool includes a base wherein the base may include a handle, at least one wheel, a painting pad, a built-in-deflector, and at least one pad ejector. The handle may be configured to allow rotation between multiple positions. The handle may further include an adapter wherein the adapter is configured to be mounted on the handle, thereby allowing a pivoting motion in relation to the wall. The base may include at least one lobe, wherein the lobe is configured to be located on each side of the base, and is further configured to connect with the at least one wheel. The painting pad may be configured to be notched around the at least one deflector and the at least one wheel in order to allow painting inside a corner area of a wall.

Abstract: A method produces an applicator for applying liquid or pasty media (1), having a container (3) storing the medium (1), and an application element (5, 13) attached to the container (3) in a usage position such that the application element provides the medium (1) for application outside the container (3) by capillary action. A hose of thermoplastic plastic is extruded and inserted into a mold, forming a container (3) closed at the bottom by expanding the hose in the mold. The container (3) located in the mold is filled with the medium (1). The container (3) is separated from the hose to form an opening accessible at the top side of the container (3). The application element (5, 13) is put into the usage position by inserting the application element through the opening of the hose and fastening the application element (5, 13) while simultaneously creating a closure of the container (3) by moving movable mold parts of the mold.

Abstract: A tube attachable toothbrush for pets includes an elongate member having a distally disposed head member and a proximal end attachable to a tube of toothpaste. The head member includes an anterior face obliquely disposed relative the elongate member, and a posterior side disposed in a congruent plane with the head member. A clip member, transversely attachable to the tube of toothpaste, is positional to prevent forcing of toothpaste back to spent portions of the tube. An interior channel, disposed between the proximal end and an aperture disposed in the anterior face of the head member, enables fluid communication of toothpaste from the tube to a plurality of bristles disposed upon the anterior face, whereby toothpaste is continuously applicable to a pet's teeth and a user's hand wielding the elongate member is positioned away from the pet's mouth during the act of brushing.

Abstract: A brush includes a substrate, a number of brush bristles, a storage bag, and a pushing element. The substrate includes a main body and a handle extending from the main body. The main body has a first loading surface supporting the brush bristles. The first loading surface defines a through hole. The main body defines a first receiving groove communicating with the though hole. The handle has a second loading surface, and defines a second receiving groove communicating with the first receiving groove. The second receiving groove passes through a portion of the second loading surface adjacent to the first receiving groove. The storage bag receives paste, and is received in the second receiving groove and partially extends into the first receiving groove to communicate with the through hole. The pushing element squeezes the storage bag to make the paste flow into gaps between the brush bristles.

Abstract: A personal dispensing system allows a user to dispense a viscous liquid, such as a disinfectant soap, waterless hand cleaner or waterless hand sanitizer containing an anti-microbial composition. The dispenser includes a mounting clip which can be worn on the belt of a user. The dispenser has a front sidewall with openings which allow the viscous liquid to be dispensed onto a user's hands. The openings on the front sidewall of the container body and the viscosity of the liquid are selected so that the viscous liquid weeps out of the openings without dripping. The container body can also have a front opening which houses a gel pad which is impregnated with the anti-microbial composition. The gel pad has openings which are again matched to the viscosity of an anti-microbial composition so that the gel weeps from the gel pad without dripping during use. The front face of the device can also house a number of roller balls for dispensing the viscous liquid.

Abstract: A decorating pen particularly useful for decorating cakes, pastries and other food items provides a reservoir containing a decorating material, a nozzle attached to the reservoir, a housing which holds the reservoir and a compression member pivotally attached to the housing member. A user holds the decorating pen in a fashion similar to a standard writing pen or pencil and squeezes the housing and compression member together to extrude the decorating material from the reservoir through the nozzle to write, draw, or color with the decorating pen.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for extracting paste contents. The device includes a storing unit for individually storing at least one paste content therein in order to extract the paste content to an exterior and a pushing unit for pushing the paste content stored in the storing unit. The pushing unit is detachably coupled with the storing unit. The storing unit is formed at an inner portion thereof with at least one storing cavity for individually storing the paste content. An exhaust port is formed at a front end of the storing cavity in order to exhaust the paste content and an injection port is formed at a rear end of the storing cavity for injecting the paste content into the storing cavity. Thus, paste contents, such as toothpaste, are easily extracted from the device. A connector is coupled to a paste content exhaust section of the device.

Abstract: A handheld portable oral cleaning device that includes a refillable internal bladder, which a user is able to fill with a liquid. The bladder is preferably an expandable but resilient latex rubber. One end of the bladder is accessible to the user, such that the user may fill the bladder with a liquid, such as water from a faucet. As the bladder fills with water it expands and exerts a pressure on the water as the bladder has a tendency to return to its original unfilled form. The pressurized water may then be sprayed out of the oral cleaning device to assist in cleaning the user's mouth.

Abstract: An apparatus or kit for applying a predictable amount of liquid such as a surgical prepping solution to an applicator having a resilient, porous pad. The receptacle is attached to a bottle or other container holding surgical prepping solution. In one embodiment, a dip tube extends from an inlet near the bottom of the bottle to an outlet positioned within the internal space of the receptacle. Most preferably, the outlet extends into the internal space of the receptacle. Pressurizing the bottle dispenses liquid through the dip tube onto the applicator. A method of use of the kit or apparatus is also disclosed.

Abstract: A paint pouch assembly includes a pair of facing sidewalls sealed along their periphery. A fitting has a fluid passage that terminates in an inlet disposed within a cavity of the pouch and the inlet faces outwardly toward one of the sidewalls. By depressing the sidewall over the opening, fluid can be regulated through the fitting. The collapsible pouch may be used in a number of different applications. It may be incorporated into a dispensing apparatus that uses a hinged presser member to urge paint through the fitting and out through a pivoting head received on the opposite end. Removable attachments can be secured to the head to provide for a fine marker, foam brush, etc. Alternatively, the collapsible pouch can be used with a well structure that is secured to an artist's palette.

Abstract: A hair coloring comb is provided, which consists of a canister having a plurality of pliable squeeze areas. The canister holds a quantity of hair coloring liquid therein. A hollow spine body has a plurality of hollow teeth extending from a first end. A structure is for attaching in a removable manner a cooperating mating end of the hollow spine body to the canister. When the pliable squeeze areas are depressed, some of the hair coloring liquid will be forced from the canister through the hollow spine body and out of the hollow teeth whereby it may be applied onto the hair of a person.

The dispensing head includes an aperture and an axially extending wall forming a skirted chamber beneath the aperture, the skirted chamber including slits at least one opening through the wall for controlling flow of material from outside the wall, through the opening and into the skirted chamber from the container body. The dispensing head is movable from an open position to a closed position wherein the closure member fits within the skirted chamber and the pin member fits within the aperture.

A flexible bag adapted to hold a liquid to be applied is disposed within the container with the open mouth of the bag located within the open neck of the container. A valve assembly is situated in the open neck of the container to control the flow of liquid from the bag through the open container neck. A dauber tip of porous material is located at the exterior of the open container neck for receiving liquid flowing through the valve assembly and applying the liquid to an object.

Abstract: A disposable ink cartridge for use in automatic marking systems. The ink cartridge is composed of a housing which contains a collapsible elastomeric ink reservoir having an open end secured to a plurality of barrier disks. The barrier disks are apertured to permit passage of ink through and between them, from the reservoir. An ink absorbing member of fibrous or porous material is positioned at the other, outlet end of the cartridge housing. The ink cartridge provides a constant flow of ink when the ink absorbing member is contacted by a print head or the like until the supply of ink is depleted from the reservoir. The cartridge design permits depletion of essentially the entire reservoir under the above conditions.

Abstract: A fountain pen in which ink is supplied to the tip of the pen under the control of a motor-actuated ink delivery device. An ink holder is formed covering the slit formation region of the pen tip to form an ink pool between the holder and pen tip. A detector is provided in the ink pool for detecting the quantity of ink therein at any time. A pen holder coupled to the pen tip includes an ink storing section opening into the ink pool, an ink delivery device coupled to the ink storing section for delivering ink under pressure, and an electrical power source and a power delivery circuit for controlling the flow of current to an operating motor.
