  • Patent number: 7614857
Abstract: The invention relates to a medical pump device comprising a rotary valve (13) having preferably only one rectilinear channel (20) which respectively connects the inlet (4) and the outlet (7) of the pump device, or connects the inlet to a pump chamber (15), or said pump chamber to the outlet, upon rotation of the rotary element (19) of the valve. The invention enables a medical pump device to be especially easily produced, said pump device being preferably inserted between an infusion syringe driver or an infusion container and a catheter, and being used to supply small quantities of liquid in an accurately dosed manner.

  • Patent number: 6644945
Abstract: A reciprocating compressor includes a linear motor having a piston reciprocating inside a cylinder. A cylinder head is provided with suction and discharge orifices. A valve means is mounted inside the cylinder and has an operative position, seated against the discharge orifice. The operative position is defined when the top of the piston is within a certain distance from the cylinder head. The distance is defined, so that, at the end of the compression stroke of the piston, a determined pressure is reached inside the cylinder, and the pressure results in a force on the piston. The force is opposite to a force which is impelling the piston and which is sufficient to interrupt its compression stroke before impacting the cylinder head.

  • Patent number: 5558504
Abstract: A device is proposed for applying material such as solder paste and glue in discrete points, particularly for applying solder paste on electronic circuit boards. The device comprises a pump house (202-205; 301, 307), a tube or a channel (206) by means of which material is fed to the pump house, a nozzle (111, 205) for feeding material from the pump house (202-205; 301, 307). Suitable upper and lower valve devices are arranged to block, at predetermined times, the feeding of material to and from the pump house (202-205; 301, 307). The lower valve device may possibly be replaced by a restriction device. As is conventional the pump house (202-205; 301, 307) comprises an outer pump cylinder (203; 307) and an inner piston (204; 301). The displacement of the piston (201; 301) is obtained by the fact that the piston is connected to a magnetostrictive rod (202; 308). This rod (202; 308) cooperates with a coil (208) arranged around the rod (202; 308).

  • Patent number: 5520521
Abstract: In a hydraulic control device for a viscous fluid pump with at least one feed cylinder (11) drivable by a hydraulic cylinder (12), the feed chamber (17) of which can be alternately connected via a hydraulically operable inlet valve (18) a hydraulically operable outlet valve (21) to a reservoir (19) and a feed line (22), whereby in the loading phase of the feed cylinder (11) the inlet valve (18) is open and the outlet valve (21) closed and in the feed phase of the feed cylinder, in which its piston is driven so as to reduce the volume in the feed chamber (17), the outlet valve is open and the inlet valve is closed, and with a hydraulic sequence control actuating the correct cyclic changeover between the inlet and outlet valves and the changeover of the pump drive, a valve forming part of the changeover control device of the sequence control and relieving the pressure in the feed chamber of the control cylinder (53) designed to actuate the outlet valve (21) takes the form of an electrically or hydraulically act

  • Patent number: 4762474
Abstract: A bore hole pump which eliminates the need for a piston sealingly engaging with the walls of the pump body. The pump comprises a hollow body closed at its lower end by a non-return inlet valve and slidably and sealingly supporting at its upper end, via a seal, a reciprocating riser pipe which is likewise closed at its lower end by a non-return valve. Upward movement of the riser pipe causes fluid to be drawn into the pump body via inlet valve while downward movement of the riser pipe causes fluid to be expelled from the pump body via outlet valve.

  • Patent number: 4722675
Abstract: A piston proportioning pump for liquids, with a piston in a cylinder, an uptake and discharge valve and an oscillating drive is improved so that the formation of vapor bubbles or of a low pressure during the suction phase is prevented even when the pump space is filled quickly. The dead space of the piston proportioning pump still remains so small that a largely complete expulsion of the proportioned amount through the discharge valve is guaranteed. To this end, provisions are made so that the discharge communicates with the pump space within an uptake valve.
