  • Patent number: 11859931
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to firearms that can receive and fire bullets from ammunition with different cartridge case sizes. For example, the receiver may fire a bullet from either a short cartridge, a medium cartridge, or long cartridge after the short, medium, or long cartridge is received by a receiver of the firearm. This firearm may include a receiver portion and a bolt portion that lock together at different relative locations when cartridges of different lengths are received by the receiver portion. The receiver portion may include a first type of alignment retention features (e.g. protrusions) and the bolt portion may include a second type of alignment retention features (e.g. recessions). Once a firearm cartridge is located inside of the firearm, it may be fired based on the receiver and the bolt portions being locked together via physical engagement of the different types of alignment retention features.

  • Patent number: 11846478
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for an electromechanical sear that is implementable in a gun. The gun may include a fire control manager, and the fire control manager may identify a trigger break based on a trigger sensor, transmit, based on the trigger break, a first signal to a first actuator located in a displacement path of a sear, so as to cause the first actuator to be displaced in a first direction, and transmit, based on the trigger break, a second signal to a second actuator located in the displacement path of the sear, so as to cause the second actuator to be displaced in a second direction. The transmitting the first signal to the first actuator and the transmitting the second signal to the second actuator may cause displacement of the sear and firing of the gun.

  • Patent number: 11740048
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system, and apparatus for securely mounting a firearm, while maintaining to ability to load, unload, and draw the firearm from the mount with a single hand. This is accomplished using a mount that is customized to conform to a specific model of firearm, ensuring a snug fit of the firearm within the mount. Magnetic retention secures the firearm in place in the mount. Modern, magazine fed handguns can be loaded and unloaded simply by moving the slide. Cycling the slide causes it to extract a round from the chamber (if a round is present) when the slide traverses rearward relative to the receiver. A new round is loaded from the magazine when the slide traverses forward relative to the receiver (if a loaded magazine is inserted).

  • Patent number: 11725903
Abstract: The present folding stock adapter can be used with many types of military-type assault rifles that typically comprise a receiver extension, buffer and action spring. The present folding stock adapter can be used to add a folding capability to a standard stock allowing it to fold against a rifle's receiver when the weapon is not in use, thus reducing the overall length of the weapon. This reduction in length can facilitate its maneuverability, storage and transport in cramped quarters. The present device can also allow for the quick unfolding of the stock in order to allow the weapon to function and be fire normally.

  • Patent number: 11644273
Abstract: A pistol slide racking tool has a main body with a threaded passageway through its upper section. Tapered lateral arm members extend from the upper section. Tapered attachment pads are located adjacent to each arm member. A shaft threadably engages the passageway through the main body. The shaft is connected to a handle at one end and, at the opposite end of the shaft, is in contact with a mid-linkage member located in the passageway. In order to rack the slide, the attachment pads are positioned adjacent to the sides of the slide. The shaft is rotated to move the mid-linkage member and attachment pads forward such that they are tight against the slide. Movement of the handle in the direction away from the pistol then racks the slide.

The forward buoyant body may have a keyed rail slot constructed to allow the firearm rail system to be inserted therein. Alternatively, or in addition to, the forward buoyant body may include a first buoyant body portion and a second buoyant body portion. The first buoyant body portion has an interlocking tongue and the second buoyant body has an interlocking groove, wherein the tongue fits into the groove and connects the first buoyant body portion to the second buoyant body portion. The system is sufficiently buoyant to render the firearm buoyant in water when the firearm is attached to the system.

Abstract: A universal marksmanship training system is disclosed herein configured to utilize a display device comprising a graphic display. A software application may also be provided. The software application is often configured to display a virtual target on the graphic display. A chamber insert may be utilized, the chamber insert configured to be positioned with the firing chamber of a firearm to be zeroed, wherein the chamber insert interacts with the software application to determine alignment of a bore of the firearm to a bore alignment point on the graphic display. In one form, the display device displays a sight target on the graphic display wherein the sight target is visually perceived by a marksman, and is offset from the bore alignment point by a offset distance. In one form, the software application calculates the sight target relative to the bore alignment point of the firearm given a set of condition variables.
