Abstract: The present invention provides a method and an apparatus of monocrystal growth. The method comprises providing an apparatus comprising a crucible, a first lifting device for lifting the crucible, a deflector tube and a second lifting device for lifting the deflector tube; setting a theoretical distance between the deflector tube and the melt surface, determining a theoretical ratio of the crucible lifting rate relative to the monocrystal lifting rate based on sizes of the crucible and the monocrystal, and starting to grow the monocrystal. During the growth, the position of one or more of the crucible, the deflector tube and the monocrystal is adjusted, the actual distance between the deflector tube and the melt surface is real-time detected, the deviation value between the theoretical and the actual distances is calculated, a variation of the ratio is obtained by the deviation value, and the theoretical ratio is adjusted based on the variation.

  • Patent number: 11358119
Abstract: The present disclosure provides biorefining systems for co-producing activated carbon along with primary products. A host plant converts a feedstock comprising biomass into primary products and carbon-containing co-products; a modular reactor system pyrolyzes and activates the co-products, to generate activated carbon and pyrolysis off-gas; and an oxidation unit oxidizes the pyrolysis off-gas, generating CO2, H2O, and energy. The energy is recycled and utilized in the host plant, and the CO2 and H2O may be recycled to the reactor system as an activation agent. The host plant may be a saw mill, a pulp and paper plant, a corn wet or dry mill, a sugar production facility, or a food or beverage plant, for example. In some embodiments, the activated carbon is utilized at the host plant to purify one or more primary products, to purify water, to treat a liquid waste stream, and/or to treat a vapor waste stream.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for termination detection of optical alignment of liquid crystal material, which includes: under influence of electrical field, irradiating light on liquid crystal material so that reactive monomers in liquid crystal material polymerizing; detecting a residual amount or a thickness change value of the reactive monomers in liquid crystal material to determine detected residual amount of reactive monomers or thickness change value in liquid crystal box reaching a default value; when reaching default value, terminating optical alignment of liquid crystal material. The present invention also provides a device for termination detection of optical alignment of liquid crystal material. Through detecting termination of optical alignment, the present invention realizes automatic control of irradiation time in optical alignment to reduce the effect of individual glass substrate variation on optical alignment to avoid affecting reaction process of alignment on reactive monomer.

Abstract: Change in the amount of an absorbing liquid is detected to restore the original amount, and carbon dioxide is stably recovered from exhaust gas. The carbon dioxide recovery apparatus has: an absorber where a gas contacts with an absorbing liquid that absorbs carbon dioxide contained in the gas; and a regenerator where the absorbing liquid after absorption is heated to release carbon dioxide and is regenerated. Water vapor in the carbon dioxide-containing recovery gas, discharged from the regenerator, is condensed by recovery equipment, and the condensed water is supplied at a fixed flow rate to the regenerator. A liquid level meter detects the liquid level changing with quantity fluctuations of the absorbing liquid. If the liquid level is lowered, a restoration system restores the original liquid level, using the condensed water. The condensed water sufficient for restoring the liquid level is supplied near the liquid level meter.
