  • Patent number: 10561231
Abstract: A grout cleaning hand tool includes a grout cleaning head assembly with a removable brush subassembly. An elongate handle extends upwardly from the grout cleaning head assembly and is held by an operator in a standing posture. The elongate handle includes a handle rod held by a first hand of the operator, and an auxiliary T-grip handle held by a second hand of the operator. The brush subassembly includes a long narrow bundle of bristles secured to a base, slidably mounted to a channel of the grout cleaning head assembly. The handle rod and the T-grip handle provide ergonomic positions for the operator to exert downward compression forces on the grout cleaning head assembly to facilitate cleaning grout lines in tiled floors. The brush subassembly may include a brush handle for detail-work grout cleaning while holding the brush subassembly close to the floor when removed from the head assembly.

  • Patent number: 8029271
Abstract: A self-cleaning burner system incorporates an automatic clean cycle when the burner is started up. Cycles may be programmed for once-a-day cleaning cycle or for other desired interval. On start-up, the cycle routes a small amount of fuel to the burner for ignition inside the burner to clean the burner surfaces. The system incorporates an igniter for fast, routine, and safe ignition of the fuel. Thus, small amounts of debris that accumulate on a surface burner are automatically ignited when the burner is started, keeping the burner clean and operating at a high state of efficiency at all times. The self-cleaning burner system may be incorporated into a fryer or other heating appliance for reliable, efficient operation.

  • Patent number: 6969250
Abstract: A waste gas treatment system having a burner part and a combustion chamber provided at a downstream side of the burner part. Combustion flames are formed from the burner part toward the combustion chamber, and a waste gas is introduced into the combustion flames, thereby oxidatively decomposing the waste gas. The combustion chamber is formed from an inner wall made of a fiber-reinforced ceramic material. Therefore, the wear of the inner wall due to heat and corrosion is minimized, and thermal stress cracking is also reduced. Consequently, the lifetime of the system increases, and the cost of equipment and the availability factor can be improved. In addition, because the inner wall exhibits no catalytic effect, the formation of thermal NOx is suppressed, and it is possible to achieve environmental preservation and to simplify the treatment equipment.
