Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for liquid crystal alignment layer, a preparation method of liquid crystal alignment layer using the same, and an optical film comprising the liquid crystal alignment layer. More particularly, the composition for liquid crystal alignment layer according to the present invention includes crosslinkable functional monomers as well as a photoreactive polymer, thereby improving thermal stability and durability of the liquid crystal alignment layer that is prepared by using the composition for liquid crystal alignment layer. In addition, when the liquid crystal alignment layer is used to produce an optical film, adhesive strength between substrate and liquid crystal alignment layer and between liquid crystal alignment layer and liquid crystal film can be improved.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an imitation candle, comprising a housing, an imitation flame body provided at a top of the housing, a light source adapted to emit light onto the imitation flame body, a swing motion device, and an air blowing device. A lower portion of the imitation flame body is connected with the swing motion device that is configured to allow the imitation flame body to pivot horizontally about at least one of a X axis and a Y axis, and comprises a wind driven pendulum member. The air blowing device is adapted to blow air toward the wind driven pendulum member causing the wind driven pendulum member to swing as well as the imitation flame body to pivot. The wind driven pendulum member is a wind driven bowl adapted to receive blowing air and having an air discharge hole.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a light emitting device package includes: preparing a base frame including an annular base part, at least a pair of lead parts extending to an inner side of the base part, and at least one support part extending to the inner side of the base part in a direction different from that of the lead parts and having a step structure formed on at least one surface of an end thereof; forming a package main body such that the package main body is combined to the step structure of the support part; separating the lead parts from the base part; disposing a light emitting device on at least one of the lead parts; and separating the package main body from the support part.
Abstract: Battery charging assemblies for children's ride-on vehicles, and children's ride-on vehicles that include the same. The charging assemblies may include a power adapter that is adapted to be electrically connected to a power source, a charger cord, and a charging connector that is adapted to electrically interconnect with the rechargeable battery of the ride-on vehicle. The battery charging assemblies further include at least one protective element to prevent or significantly reduce backflow current from the battery into the battery charging assembly. The protective element may be located in the charging probe or at any point along the charger cord of the battery charging assembly. The protective element may include any suitable current-limiting or current-interrupting device. Examples of such current limiting devices include, without limitation, a fuse, a circuit breaker, an anti-backflow diode, and a resettable fuse such as a positive temperature coefficient resistor (PTC resistor).

Abstract: A latch mechanism for securing a battery module (70) includes a bracket (10), and a pair of latch members (50). The bracket includes a recess (18), a back plate (16) defining a pair of cutouts (162), and a pair of fixing frames (30) next to the cutouts. The latch members are slidably received in the fixing frames and each include a sidewall (52) defining a locking slot (522) therein. The battery module is slidably moved into the recess and includes a pair of hooks (74) separately extending through the cutouts of the bracket to engaging with the locking slots of the latch members.
Abstract: An ornamental lighting assembly includes a plurality of lighting units, each of which includes a plurality of upright posts, a plurality of lamps mounted respectively on the posts, hollow upper and lower spacing ribs parallel to each other and extending through the posts, conductive upper and lower wires enclosed respectively in the upper and lower spacing ribs, and pairs of conductive connecting wires connected electrically to the lamps and the upper and lower wires. Each of the upper and lower spacing ribs is non-foldable and non-collapsible so that the spacing between two adjacent ones of the posts is fixed, and is slightly flexible so as to enable the lighting units to be assembled into a circle.
Abstract: A lead frame is formed by subjecting a frame base to a forming process, a semiconductor chip is fixed on leads formed in the lead frame and wires are provided in the semiconductor chip, and then a package which accommodates the semiconductor chip is formed; a non-conductive adhesive being provided, before the forming process, on a position on the frame base in which the leads are formed, and unnecessary portions of the frame base and the non-conductive adhesive being removed in the forming process so that the leads having a predetermined configuration and provided with the non-conductive adhesive are formed.
