    Abstract: Modular LED lighting systems can provide under-cabinet lighting. According to some embodiments, an LED lighting system may be provided with at least one LED light strip, a switch unit, and a removable electrical connector electrically connecting the at least one LED light strip to the switch unit in an end-to-end configuration. According to other embodiments, a modular under-cabinet LED lighting system may be provided having a plurality of LED light strip units having a female power receptacle at each end thereof, and at least one removable electrical connector received within respective female power receptacles at respective ends of an adjacent pair of the LED light strip units to electrically connect the pair of LED light strip units in series one to another in an end-to-end configuration. Because of the modular nature of the various components, a lighting system tailored to a specific under-cabinet lighting need can be provided.

The feed through includes an insulator ring securely positioned in the passage, a first threaded insert, and a second threaded insert which engages the first threaded insert, wherein the insulator ring is gripped by the first and second threaded inserts. The feed through is installed by securely positioning the insulator ring within the passage, inserting the first threaded insert into the passage, and then connecting the first and second threaded inserts to grip the insulator ring.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a clamping device for joining two waveguides used for propagating microwaves. The waveguides are of the type comprising hollow microwave propagation channels having at their meeting ends connection flanges in abutting relationship, the flanges being provided with aligned openings. The clamping device comprises a top wall and a pair of generally parallel side walls depending from the top wall. A metallic pin is mounted to one of the side walls and projects toward the other side wall which is provided with a cut-out portion facing the pin. In use, the pin is inserted through a pair of aligned openings in the flanges and the clamping device is pressed toward the flanges to turn about the axis of the pin until the flanges are deeply received between the side walls.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a clamping device which comprises a U-shaped spring secured to a spring retainer in a pivotable manner. The spring retainer is a sub-assembly which consists of two plates forming a slot when sandwiched together to accommodate the spring. The two plates associated with the retainer assembly accommodate a rotatable bolt or screw which screw is directed into a compression stop assembly. A bracket is mounted to the appropriate waveguide flange. This bracket contains an aperture to accommodate a projecting end of the spring. The mating waveguide flanges are clamped in place by adjusting the captive screw which serves to deflect the U-spring completing the clamping action. The unit, as described in the specification, contains two U-shaped springs both of which are coupled to a central spring retaining unit and can operate to connect or disconnect two separate waveguide sections.
