Abstract: A device designed to spin in a user's hands may include a body with a centrally mounted ball bearing positioned within a center orifice of the body, wherein an outer race of the ball bearing is attached to the frame; a button made of a pair of bearing caps attached to one another through the ball bearing and clamped against an inner race of the ball bearing, such that when the button is held between a user's thumb and finger, the body freely rotates about the ball bearing; and a plurality of weights distributed at opposite ends of the body, creating at least a bipolar weight distribution.

Abstract: A baseball or softball (B) throwing aid (10) for teachings players, particularly young players the proper mechanics for throwing a ball. The aid includes a rod or bar (12) projecting from each side of the ball. One half of each rod or bar is one color (G) and the other half a different color (R). The throwing practice aid teaches the player to get their thumb in the correct position before they throw the ball. If a thrower doesn't have their thumb facing the correct way before throwing the ball, they are pulling and pushing the ball instead of throwing it.

The twirling mechanism having a handle extending from a bottom portion thereof and having a mechanism to permit rotating of the handle with respect to the fabric-article, such that the fabric article is capable of twirling around the twirling mechanism. The twirling mechanism may in other embodiments include noise maker when the handle is rotated.

Abstract: A control device and an elongated member provide for a controlled play wherein the elongated member remains aloft during play in response to controlled movement of the control device by a player. Contact by the control device with the elongated member includes a sliding contact, a pushing disengaging contact and a catching engaging contact. The elongated member may have numerous configurations where a plurality of contact surfaces are symmetrically disposed about a central axis. Preferably the elongated member will have a wide central portion which is bordered by opposing narrower intermediate portions which in turn are respectively bordered by end portions which are wider than the intermediate portions. The elongated member may be a rigid member, as formed by a molding process or from a permanent assembly of components, or may be of a sectional design which may be assembled and disassembled.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for rotating an item, particularly an edible item. The edible item may be a confectionary product and preferably is a frozen dessert. The device includes a lower handle intended as a holder, an intermediate pinion inside a box, and a support assembly that supports the edible product. The support assembly is integral with the intermediate pinion and rotates freely with respect to the lower handle. The edible product is rotated by inserting a slender rack between the pinion and the inner face of the box in such a way that it meshes with the pinion so that its transverse movement gives rise to a rotation of the pinion and, consequently, rotation of the edible product supported on the support assembly.

Abstract: A twirling toy utilizing a hollow member having an outer surface, an inner surface surrounding an inner chamber, and a mouth leading to the inner chamber. An endless rim extends outwardly from the inner surface and into the hollow member inner chamber. An elongated structure is used with the hollow member and includes a first end portion with an endless flange. The endless flange engages the endless rim on the inner surface of hollow member when the hollow member is rotated. A second end portion of the elongated structure includes a hand grip.

Abstract: A stick game toy is provided having a curved catch stick having a handle at one end and a hook at the other end and a toss stick having a rod and a pair of guides located symmetrically about the center of the rod for balancing the toss stick between the two ends of the rod.

Abstract: A flying toy is provided having a substantially planar, flexibly deformable body with a top surface, a bottom surface and a peripheral edge. A plurality of protuberances are disposed on the top surface of the body spaced a radial distance apart relative to the body. The protuberances have a hollow configuration defining a concavity open to the bottom surface of the body. The protuberances and body are integrally formed from a sheet of a substantially continuous flexibly deformable material. The configuration of the flying toy provides it with aerodynamic properties when thrown with a rotational motion in a planar orientation.

Abstract: This toy consists of a spinning disk with central dome and a wand. The wand has a tip to engage inwardly oriented teeth near the edge of the central dome to prohibit withdrawal of the wand from the disk until the disk has been allowed to freely rotate upon the tip of the wand. Each tooth is arranged to engage the wand tip as the wand propels the disk in angular acceleration yet release the wand tip to allow the disk to freely rotate upon the wand tip when the tip is at the apex of the central dome. Abstract: An action toy in which a spinner is provided having two wheels joined with a magnetized axle which rotates along a single flat elongated wand. The wand has a return at each end so that the spinner will rotate along a first side of the wand and then along a second side as a player moves the wand from hand to hand. The wand may be provided in a variety of shapes to present an interesting path for the spinner.
