The front panel is constructed of a first piece of non-stretch fabric having a larger degree of mechanical ease in a first direction than a second direction, the rear panel is constructed of a second piece of non-stretch fabric having a larger degree of mechanical ease in the first direction than the second direction, the left side panel is constructed of a first piece of stretch fabric having a larger degree of elastic stretch in the first direction than the second direction, and the right side panel constructed of a second piece of stretch fabric having a larger degree of elastic stretch in the first direction than the second direction.

Abstract: The orthopedic support garment includes a garment body made of stretchable fabric and configured to be worn in a form-fitting manner on the upper body of a wearer. The garment body has a front body portion, a rear body portion joined to the front body portion, and right and left sleeve portions attached to the front and rear body portions. Also provided is at least one tensor band laid out along one of the front and rear body portions in a manner intended to substantially correspond to at least one of the fascial lines extending along the upper body of the wearer. When the garment is worn by the wearer, the at least one tensor band may be placed in tension so as to provide proprioceptive feedback to the wearer during movement.

The blank is knitted to define compressive regions in the blank with different compressive strengths and being knitted to define stretch regions in the blank which have different stretch characteristics with the positional location, the size and shape of the regions being predetermined to provide desired shaping characteristics of the garment.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for treating hemorrhoids and similar ailments are disclosed in which one or more piece of material are used to separate swollen, inflamed tissue from non-swollen tissue, material may be included within an undergarment that may be worn for the treatment of ailments such as hemorrhoids or an episiotomy. The material incorporated into the undergarment has elastic properties that, in the case of hemorrhoids, acts to separate the buttocks. The undergarment may also include one or more pocket enclosures to hold cold compresses, ice packs, pain ointment, etc. directly upon, or in close proximity to, the affected area. Alternately, the material may be one or more single-use strips that include adhesive such that the strips act to separate the affected area from the non-affected area.

Maximum compression may be provided to the waist section with the remaining portion of the garment providing support with minimum compression.

Abstract: A body shaping undergarment is disclosed. A plurality of fabric panels are fixed together to form the undergarment and define a first leg opening, a second leg opening and a waist opening. An elastic waist band is disposed around at least a portion of the circumference of the waist opening, and a first and a second elastic leg band are respectively disposed around at least a portion of a circumference of the first leg opening and the second leg opening. A pair of elastic buttock support panels are fixed to the undergarment and disposed so that each elastic buttock support panel elastically supports a respective buttock of a wearer. The pair of elastic buttock support panels is integrally fixed to a same fabric panel of the plurality of fabric panels, and each one of the pair of elastic buttock support panels is integrally fixed to a respective same fabric panel of the plurality of fabric panels as a the first elastic leg band and the second elastic leg band.

Abstract: The invention relates to a support garment mainly to be worn by women who experienced weakened muscles or a fallen uterus. The support garment consists of an adjustable or elastic waistband with a support band separably attached to the waistband which is placed between the legs of the wearer. At approximately midway of the support band, a support package is located so as to be located between the legs of a wearer. The support package consists of a semi-rigid but flexible open grid panel of plastic material which is in contact with an upper surface of the support band. A sheet of soft padding is wrapped around the panel and the support band so as to form a package.

When the front body is provided with the stretchable straps in an X-shaped arrangement, the stretchable straps lift superfluous flesh on the waist toward the middle of the wearer's body, and flattens the stomach and the waist by their elasticities. When the back body is provided with the stretchable straps in an X-shaped arrangement, the stretchable back straps lift superfluous flesh on opposite sides of the buttocks toward the middle of the wearer's body so that the width across the hips is reduced and the middle between the hips bulges out backward, pull the shoulders backward so that the spine is straightened to correct the posture. Thus, the shapesuit shapes up the body form.

Abstract: A women's' abdominal support undergarment includes a waistband of horizontally elastic material with its ends joined to the side edges of a one piece control panel of horizontally elastic corset elastic different from the waistband material. The waistband is substantially more elastic than the control panel. The waistband and upper segment of the control panel form a horizontally aligned waist encircling portion on a standing wearer and have a smooth, continuous upper edge. A lower segment of the control panel cooperates with a panty portion and a thong portion to define a depending transverse portion of the garment.

Abstract: A panty garment, panty hose or the like where the garment is formed from first and second circularly and oppositely configured knit tubes forming a front panty section having a shield shaped configuration and a back panty section having a V shaped configuration contained therein wherein the front and rear panty sections are formed from a multiplicity of yarn courses and the yarns are knit in stitch loop constructions to permit more vertical stretch in the rear panty section than in the front panty section when the garment is worn. Abstract: A form fitting garment is provided which accommodates a large abdomen of a user. The garment is maintained in form fitting contact with the abdomen and a remainder of the user covered thereby by being formed generally of a first stretchable material. The garment includes a waistband which is expandable and which is also adjustable in size and a front panel which is connected to a front portion of the waistband and which extends downwardly therefrom to cover the abdomen of the user. This front panel is made of an extra stretchable material which is more stretchable than the first stretchable material, and optionally is supportive. The garment can also include an extra stretchable and supportive back panel which is connected to a back portion of the waistband and which extends downwardly therefrom to cover the buttocks of the user. A crotch is connected between the front panel and the back to cover the crotch of the user, and the crotch is either extra stretchable or supportive.

Abstract: A swimsuit having an inner liner of stretchable and resilient fabric for encasing at least a portion of a person's torso, including the abdomen, hips and rear areas; at least one control panel bonded to the inner liner for restricting the stretching of the inner liner fabric and controlling bulging at a desired area of the encased torso; and an outer swimsuit fabric covering over the inner liner. The control panels are preferably located on the abdomen and both upper rear hip areas of the inner liner and have significantly less stretch than the inner liner fabric alone. The panels may be made of soft, flexible synthetic fabric or plastic laminated to either the interior or exterior surface of the inner liner.
