Abstract: An undergarment able to adapt its back size, cup size, strap lengths and secureness of fit all while transforming to a convertible bra for breastfeeding for nursing mothers. Particularly a high quality, well-fitting bra that can facilitate the stages of bra-wearing and nursing practicably and inexpensively. It eliminates the costs required to purchase different sized bras in response to changes in bra size during different stages of life as in puberty, pregnancy, weight gain or loss and beyond by providing options. It is a functional bra offering support for nursing with large, average and small breasts. Present invention, because of interchangeable detachable components, provides users with different options when needed. Preferred embodiment of present invention provides base components able to interchange cups, bands and straps allowing replacement of components to suit body changes.

Abstract: A breastfeeding garment and method of use is provided. The breastfeeding garment includes a first front flap and a second front flap positioned over the breasts of a user, and a back panel, all of which are joined at two side seams. The first and second front flaps may be moved away from each other vertically to form an aperture through the breastfeeding garment. The first and second front flaps are composed of an elastic material, so a breastfeeding funnel may be placed onto the breast of a user through the aperture and then induced to remain in contact with the breast through the elastic force generated by the breastfeeding garment.

Abstract: Concepts provided are directed to a multi-layer nursing bra and a nursing bra system to be worn by a wearer. The multi-layer nursing bra includes an outer layer positioned over an inner layer. One or more edges of the outer layer and one or more edges of the inner layer may be manipulated to form an opening for breast feeding. The nursing bra system is composed of the multi-layer nursing bra and an upper-body garment configured to be layered over the multi-layer nursing bra. The upper-body garment includes a nursing opening on a front portion of the upper-body garment to provide access to the opening created in the multi-layer nursing bra when needed.

Abstract: The invention is related to support garment for breast cancer patients who have undergone or are going through radiation therapy after lumpectomy, mastectomy, or breast reconstruction. This garment will reduce skin on skin irritation, material on skin chaffing inside/out, or radiation therapy induced edema. Additionally, it will provide medium to high support. It will provide a coated material to prevent staining from radiation creams/skin gels. Lastly, it will provide comfort with material based cut-outs for added breathability and cooling. The support garment will include a separate inner most cup fabric coated to provide pocket for prosthetic breast forms, and a lower support area with printed silicone flocked standoff texture to reduce chaffing inside & out. It is easy “get on” and “take off” for patients with arm mobility issues. The design will be flattering & beautiful to wear for these patients.

Abstract: A breast shield for a breast pump for expressing human breast milk, comprising a funnel for applying to the human mother's breast and a connection part, wherein the funnel widens in the direction of the mother's breast and encloses at least one nipple and one areola surrounding the nipple of the mother's breast. The funnel comprises an end near to the breast, which forms a contact edge for contacting the mother's breast. The breast shield has a through-opening which extends from the end of the funnel near the breast up to the end of the connection part further from the breast, and which serves to apply a negative pressure to the mother's breast and to discharge expressed breast milk. The contact edge of the funnel is formed by a space curve that is not positioned in one plane, wherein the funnel has at least two planes of symmetry. The breast shield permits an application on the mother's breast that is optimally sealing and comfortable for the mother.

When access to the breast is not in use, the clothing shows no signs of having specific nursing functionality. The invention can be applied to articles of clothing in many fashion design style forms. Abstract: Provided herein is an apparatus to be worn by a lactating individual or nursing woman or mother for breastfeeding and/or hands-free pumping. The apparatus comprises an outermost crossover cover panel attached via a panel connector to a bottom elastic band of the apparatus; whereby disconnecting the crossover cover panel at the panel connector exposes the multiple underlying pumping panels for hands-free pumping. In another embodiment, disconnecting the crossover cover panel at the panel connector exposes a nursing panel. Advantageously, the apparatus disclosed herein is designed with the adjustable outermost crossover cover panels for accommodating fluctuations in breast size and as a convenient and functional reminder to alternate breasts when pumping and/or nursing.

Additionally, the improved systems and methods reduce respiratory movement of the breasts. A bottle support member is secured to the stretchable strap and can be deployed so as to provide substantial support for the milk receptacle of a conventional breast pump so as to minimize the requirement for the user to hold the breast pump components during milk extraction.
