  • Patent number: 11953214
Abstract: An air conditioner may provide a a fan housing assembly that moves in the front-rear direction by the operation of an actuator, and the fan housing assembly moves so as to pass through a front outlet arranged on a door assembly to be in a projected state, and the front end of the fan housing assembly protrudes further to the front than the front surface of the door assembly; and through the projected state, may provide conditioned air by a direct air flow to a long-distance target region. The configuration may enable the minimization of interference between the discharged air and the door assembly, and the minimization of flow loss of the discharged air since, when the fan housing assembly is in the projected state, a steering grill is in a state of protruding to the outside of the door assembly by passing through the front outlet.

Abstract: A modular data center (MDC) includes an air handling system having air handling unit(s) (AHU(s)) with return air inlet and supply air outlet that are vertically spaced. An air redirection structure includes a return air plenum that is in fluid communication with and vertically aligned to the return air inlet of the AHU(s). The return air plenum directs return air from a return air opening of the first air redirection structure to the AHU(s). The return air opening is positioned adjacent to a hot aisle of a volumetric container of the MDC. A supply air plenum is in fluid communication with and vertically aligned to the supply air outlet of the AHU(s). The supply air plenum directs supply air from the AHU(s) to a supply air opening of the first air redirection structure. The supply air opening is positioned to provide supply air to the cold aisle of the container.

  • Patent number: 10711426
Abstract: A controller for controlling a system for mitigating the flow of vapors from contaminated soil into a building controls a blower pulling an exhaust from underneath the sub slab of the building and blowing the vapors away from the building. The blower is controlled by pressure sensors that measure the pressure drop across the sub slab. The sensors are monitored by the controller to make sure they all have a minimum pressure drop. If any of the sensors have an inadequate pressure drop, the blower speed is increased a small amount by the controller. If all of the sensors have adequate pressure drop, then the blower speed is decreased by a small amount. The controller then rechecks the pressure drops on a periodic basis and makes appropriate blower speed adjustments after each measurement.
