Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a rotatable play device that comprises a central support post, a hub rotatably mounted to an upper end of the central support post, and an arm assembly attached to the hub and comprising a plurality of arms, a seat being suspended from the distal end of each of the plurality of arms. Rotation of the hub about the central support post causes the plurality of seats to rotate around the central support post in a substantially circular rotation path. Each of the seats may also be configured to move up and down by way of a spring assembly or a plurality of springs. Two or more seats may share the up-and-down movement in an alternating manner or each seat may be configured to have an independent up-and-down movement. In addition, each of the seats may optionally be configured to swing in substantial alignment with the circular rotation path and/or to swing outward due to centripetal forces created by the circular rotation path.

Abstract: A spinning amusement device is provided which may include a first arm coupled to an opposing second arm. A neck aperture may be disposed centrally between the first arm and the second arm. A first seat may be coupled to the first arm, and a second seat may be coupled to the second arm. Preferably, the device may be used by an adult user who may position their neck in the neck aperture, a first child user received in the first seat in a seated position, and a second child received in the second seat also in a seated position. The adult user may rotate the device, preferably by rotating their own body with the first arm and second arm, and the two children may therefore be spun or rotated while the majority of the centrifugal force of the children is borne by the device and by the children which are in a seated position.

Abstract: The invention mainly relates to a training device for a board sport involving the use of a board, that is essentially characterized in that it comprises at least a first (2c) and a second (3c) main support line of the board (6) extending from at least one upper attachment point (4, 5; 51, 75, 77, 81, 83) located above and at a distance of the board (6) as far as a first (13) and a second (14) support element of the board (6) respectively, each extending transversally under the board (6) and each comprising a bearing part (15, 16) on which the lower face (15) of said board (6) is supported. The device according to the invention is particularly applicable to surf training, the board then being a surf board.

Abstract: The present invention is a gimbled push-up bar assembly mounted upon a rotatable hinge, thereby providing instability in three dimensions for which a user will have to compensate in use. The bar may be locked into two dimensions by the use of a lock pin, or may freely move in all three dimensions. Handgrips are provided which are bent downwards to provide guards for a user's hands when in the free-motion configuration. The bar itself is removable from the hinge and stand assembly and may be used as a stable push-up bar assembly, resting on the guards.

Abstract: A balance training device includes at least one supporting base and at least one plank member. The supporting base includes a plank connecting portion formed with a plank coupling groove that opens upwardly. The plank coupling groove includes a first groove section and a second groove section that intersects the first groove section. The plank member includes a plate portion and a rib structure disposed on a bottom face of the plate portion. The rib structure removably engages the plank coupling groove of the supporting base. The rib structure includes a first rib part to engage the first groove section and a second rib part to engage the second groove section.

Abstract: Play equipment that combines the movements of a teeter totter and a merry-go-round includes a support for suspending a riding assembly, a riding assembly upon which a rider is supported, such as upon which a rider sits or a rider hangs from, and a suspending means which suspends the riding assembly from the support for both rotational movement with respect to the support and up and down movement with respect to the support. The up and down movement may be achieved by pivotal movement or by swinging movement. The support of the invention may be adjustable to adjust the height of the riding assembly. When seats for the riders are provided, the seats may include restraining means, such as back and side rails to help keep the rider in the seat. The equipment can include a single beam providing a pair of oppositely extending arms as with a traditional teeter tooter, or can include additional beams or arms, such as four arms, to accommodate additional riders.

Abstract: The coated multilayer structure comprising a polymeric base layer, a zero valent material barrier layer, and a top coat on the zero valent material barrier layer, the top coat comprising a soluble compound capable of reducing the permeability of the multilayer structure to gas or vapor. The zero valent material barrier layer can also enhance barrier to UV light. A method for enhancing the gas or vapor barrier properties or the UV light barrier properties of a multilayer polymeric/inorganic structure is also disclosed. According to one embodiment, Si coated polyethylene terephthalate containers are coated with a gas or vapor barrier enhancing top coat. A method for recycling containers coated with a zero valent material barrier layer is also disclosed.

Abstract: A playground structural member characterized by its economy of manufacture, durability and colorfastness consisting of an elongated steel tube core encapsulated within an envelope formed of recycled synthetic plastic, preferably of the polyethylene type. The upper end of the structural member includes a bulbous head, and the lower length is of a cylindrical configuration adapted to receive brackets having attachment tabs whereby the structural members may function as supporting columns for playground apparatus.
