Abstract: A portable jogging tricycle includes a main frame, a handle base, a rear wheel support frame connected to opposite sides of the handle base, two front wheel support frames and two foldable frames attached between the handle base and the front wheel support frame. The foldable frame includes a plurality of scissor lifts and is used for folding the two front wheel support frames close to the handle base. The main frame includes a plurality of pivoted arms for folding the main frame together to fold in the handle base and the rear wheel support frame.

Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a bar assembly and weight assemblies and can be used according to various methods of performing exercise routines using the apparatus. An exemplary exercise apparatus includes bar segments that are coupled together to create a bar assembly. Weight can be added to the bar assembly and the assembled device can be used to perform exercises that involve, for example, twisting and stretching.

Abstract: A portable multipurpose whole body exercise device which can be used for general fitness, Pilates-type, core strengthening, therapeutic, and rehabilitative exercises as well as stretching and physical therapy and which includes storable accessories that can be withdrawn from storage within the device and subsequently secured to the main tubular portion of the apparatus. The apparatus features a housing, an extendable Pilates seat component, a foldable wrist exercise, a bike system, a retractable chin up bar; power barbells in the inner cavity of the housing; and a foldable power barbell bar operatively connected to the power barbells via a pulley system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a foldable exercise device comprising a seat with a front and rear portion. The front portion is pivotably attached to at least one support member. The rear portion includes an intermediate pivotably lateral support member attached between first and second vertical support members. Each of the first and second vertical support members includes top and bottom ends. The seat is configured to pivot to at least two positions including an open position and a folded position. A back support is pivotably secured to the intermediate pivotable lateral support member. The back support is configured to pivot to at least two positions including an open position and a folded position. A resistance apparatus is secured between the first and second vertical support members. The resistance apparatus is configured to supply a variable resistive force when at least one connector coupled to the resistance apparatus is pulled by a user.

Abstract: A push-up exercise unit and device is described which may enable a user to move with his or her body's natural rotation to engage additional muscle groups with reduced stress on joints. The device includes a pair of rotatable devices, one for each hand. Each rotatable device includes a handle assembly, a rotatable handle support structure, a fixed base support, and a bearing assembly operatively attached within the handle support structure to permit rotation of the handle assembly and handle support structure. The handle assembly is removable from a top surface of the handle support structure, to be inserted into another surface of the handle support structure to configure the unit for stowage.

Abstract: A method of displaying exercise weight components in a retail environment includes disposing a weight case in a retail environment, the weight case including a bottom member and a first side wall attached to the bottom member, the first side wall including a opening formed into an outer face of the first side wall and adapted to maintain an exercise weight component in a substantially upright manner with the bottom member resting on a support surface. A plurality of exercise weight components is maintained by the weight case, at least one of the plurality of weight components maintained in the opening of the first side wall. The exercise weight component maintained in the opening of the first side wall is presented to an observer.

Abstract: A portable elastic resistance exercise apparatus comprising two panels selectively affixed in a 90 degree angle. Both panels are padded for user interaction. Elastic resistance is positioned as chosen within cutouts in the back panel, at any height and with any resistance chosen. Grips on the resistance enable either grasping or hooking around limbs or body parts. The apparatus folds for portability and also includes non-skid and other anchoring devices for temporary affixation to foreign objects and surfaces. The apparatus therefore offers a truly portable, all-in-one exercise device.

Grips are preferably positionable around the dumbbells to require the user to hold the exercise device in an open hand grip. Abstract: An apparatus used for exercising includes a shaft with a crossbar mounted at one end. A pair of stirrups connected by a cord are trained about a pulley which is carried by the crossbar. The apparatus may be used for simulating a bicycle-like motion by placing one's feet in the stirrups while sitting down and alternatingly pumping the back and forth in the stirrups. A second handle and carrying case complete the apparatus such that when the crossbar and pulley are removed from the shaft the handle may be removably attached to the same end and the shaft then used as a walking assist device. The crossbar, pulley, and stirrups may then be stored in the carrying case.

Abstract: A portable exercising apparatus includes a chest-expander, two rod members adapted for fastening to two handles at two distal ends of the chest-expander for vertical pulling exercises, two wheels adapted for mounting on one rod member for back and forth body extending exercises on the floor, and a bag adapted for holding parts of the exercising apparatus when the exercising apparatus is not in use or fastening to the other handle of the chest-expander to hold a pad to support the knees on the floor when performing back and forth body extending exercises.

Abstract: An apparatus for performing exercises including a case for transporting the exercise device and for use in performing the exercises. The case can be a simulated briefcase, so that the exercise device can be carried around like ordinary luggage, or be another type of container. Included are elastic cables which can be moved from stowed positions in the case to exercising positions in which portions of the cables extend outwardly from the case. The portions of the cables remaining in the case are restrained against stretching thereby allowing essentially only the portions of the cables extending outwardly from the case to be stretched. In performing exercises, the outwardly extending portions of the cables are pulled against the case, thereby setting up isometric forces which resist the pulling action and enable the desired strength training. It is possible to exercise all of the major muscle groups and to replicate the exercises performed on popular stationary exercise apparatus.

Abstract: A portable system for multiple educational activities includes multiple planks and connectors and allows for the arrangement of the planks and connectors in different configurations to enable use for a variety of activities. One of the activities requires four planks be configured in a square shape with the connectors attached to the ends of two of the planks thereby allowing sliding engagement with slots in the sides of the other two planks. A second activity requires two planks be attached at one end via a pivot joint which allows for variation of the angle between the planks. Also provided is a method for using the portable system.

The discs and dumbbell bars are stored within a portable transport and storage case that may be used as a bench for weightlifting exercises and a bench step for aerobic exercise. A headrest is included that is attachable to the storage case and extension blocks are provided for adjusting the height of the storage case when used for exercise. Abstract: A therapy device for conducting rehabilitative exercises that includes a base having a receptacle. A standard is capable of being positioned in the receptacle in a substantially vertical position and has a plurality of adjustable arms slidably mounted on it. A locking mechanism is used to secure the standard in the vertical position. Each arm has means for being slidably mounted to the standard and a locking mechanism for fixing the arm at a height along the vertical, longitudinal axis of the standard. Each arm also includes a fastening means for removably securing occupational therapy exercise items, such as hooks, rings, and other items. The base of the therapy device include a slot for receiving the standard and may be shaped and sized to resemble an attache or brief case and to include a handle and one or more bins for holding occupational therapy exercise items. The bin may be compartmentalized and have a lid to secure exercise items therein.
