One Movement Multidirectional Patents (Class 49/152)
  • Patent number: 9194172
Abstract: A sliding panel structure. The sliding panel structure includes a frame having an upper support track and a lower guide rail. At least one sliding panel is connected between the upper support track and the lower guide rail. The sliding panel includes a sliding panel pivot axis and an extension for riding in the lower guide rail. The extension prevents undesired pivoting of the sliding panel about the sliding panel pivot axis. A mutual attraction device is connected between the sliding panel and the frame with a first mutual attraction part connected to the frame and the second mutual attraction part connected to the sliding panel. A fulcrum is utilized for tilting the sliding panel whenever the first mutual attraction part engages the second mutual attraction part.

  • Publication number: 20100287838
Abstract: A sensor assembly and method for detecting the position of an openable pane in a sliding vehicle door includes a window regular mechanism having a main lift arm supporting the pane and a drive mechanism for moving the pane in downward and upward directions. The main lift arm includes a sector gear plate at one end thereof. The sector gear plate is drivingly rotated by the drive mechanism. A slot is defined in the sector gear plate and the guide of a sensor mechanism is received in the slot. The guide is moved along the slot as the sector gear plate is rotated such that the guide is moved into a first portion of the slot when the sector gear plate is driven in a first rotatable direction to move the window pane toward its closed position and moved into a second portion of the slot when the sector gear plate is driven in a second, opposite rotatable direction to move the window pane toward its open position.

  • Patent number: 7305795
Abstract: A window for use in buildings for housing animals, such as barns, that is openable in two generally perpendicular directions, is provided. The window includes an outer frame secured within an opening in the structure, a middle frame that is pivotally secured to the outer frame, and an inner frame pivotally secured to the middle frame. A first pivoting mechanism includes a pair of hinges that enable one of the frames to be pivoted with respect to the outer frame along a generally vertical axis, and the second pivoting mechanism enables the other frame to be pivoted with respect to the outer frame along a generally horizontal axis. The second mechanism pivots and slides one of the frames in order to open the window for ventilation purposes while enabling the remaining frame to remain closed, thereby preventing the entering or exiting of large objects through the window, such as an animal's head.
