The guard frame swings between up and down positions and is pivotally connected to the legs via a first junction. A second junction locks the guard frame to the legs. The second junction includes a rotatable seat that engages a pin extending from the guard frame. The bed rail further includes a strap that engages a proximal end of a leg, a distal end of the leg, and an anchor, which engages the side of the bed opposite of the bed rail.

Abstract: A horizontally expandable bed rail having a guard rail frame that confronts a first side of a bed to prevent a child from falling out of the bed. The guard rail frame includes a pair of vertical support members interconnected by upper, lower and intermediate horizontal support members that slide horizontally in and out such that the vertical support members have an extended position where the vertical support members are spaced apart by a first distance and a drawn in position where the vertical support members are spaced apart by a second distance that is less than the first distance.

At least one transparent end panel (274) is in operative attached connection with a crib end wall. The transparent end panel may be in interengaging relation with the side panel to provide resistance to relative movement of the side panel and the end panel.

The enclosure has front and rear walls, the front wall being moveable between an upper position for preventing the infant from rolling off the sleeping platform and a lower position allowing access to the infant. A biasing mechanism biases the front wall to return automatically in to the upper position in the absence of a barrier to upward movement, and a latch automatically engages when the front wall is in its upper position. The latch prevents movement of the front wall from the upper position towards the lower position until and unless the latch is released.

The movable arm portion and the resting portion are movable along their length to an extended position to fit several lengths and sizes of infants placed within the device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a divider screen assembly for an aircraft seating arrangement, the divider screen assembly comprising a divider screen moveable between a lower height in a stowed configuration, and an upper height in a deployed configuration, a first actuation mechanism being actuable to allow movement of the divider screen between the upper height and an intermediate height in between the upper height and the lower height, a second actuation mechanism being actuable to allow movement of the divider screen between the intermediate height and the lower height, wherein the second actuation mechanism is actuable only when the screen has been lowered to the intermediate height. The present invention also provides an aircraft accommodation arrangement, a method of stowing a divider screen and a method of deploying a divider screen.

An elongated grappling tool has a hook-like end for grabbing the sliding sleeve hinge lock handle for locking and unlocking the hinge lock from a distance when erecting or folding a guard rail.

The mattress support frame includes an outer frame, a mesh frame and a plurality of springs connecting the mesh frame to the outer frame to evenly hold a mattress on the mattress support frame. The elongated anchor planks connect to the widthwise frame and the mattress support frame, and four anchor struts are fastened on the outer frame respectively near the lower ends of the elongated anchor planks for the anchor planks to rest without swaying. Hence the mattress support frame with different sizes can be coupled with the widthwise frames and the longitudinal frames. Assembly can be done quickly with enhanced strength.

The pivotally-engaging mechanism is disposed on a crib frame. The bracket is connected to the crib frame through the pivotally-engaging mechanism. The bracket has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The bracket is capable of being rotated to be disposed selectively with the first side or the second side facing upward for providing application space. Thereby, the invention can provide two application platforms with one occupied space of the crib frame, so as to solve the issue in the prior art that additional accessories provided for a conventional crib is provided for multiple functions occupy more space and the operation therefor is usually inconvenient to users.

The leg arrangement uses support struts and sliding connections to the cot support base to maintain its footprint at all heights. The end walls and side walls are all foldable relative to the sleeping base. The cot can be folded flat by folding the side walls onto the base and the end walls in on top of them. The leg arrangement can also fold flat. One side wall can be folded out to lie on the adjacent parent bed, bridging the gap.
