  • Patent number: 10989240
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bed frame designed for quick assembly. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention may comprise a wire lattice that forms the support surface for a mattress and, if necessary, box springs. The wire lattice can be secured to a perimeter frame using brackets which hook onto the lattice and also attach to the sides of the frame. The bed frame may include vertical supports or legs that can be quickly attached to the frame. Each leg may include an attachment plate and a catch extending above the attachment plate. The leg can be secured to the bed frame by sliding the attachment plate into a receiver attached to the bed frame. As the attachment plate is being inserted, the catch may engage a series of corrugations formed in the receiver. The catch may press against a corrugation to lock the leg into the receiver.

Abstract: This invention presents a foldable cot. The foldable cot includes a foldable frame and a flexible sheet having a generally rectangular shape. The peripheral portions of the flexible sheet are secured to the foldable frame. The foldable frame has two-pairs of hingedly connected longitudinal bars, which allows the foldable frame to be folded in a longitudinal direction. A middle support structure is mounted to the hinge connectors. The middle support structure includes a pair of crossbars having a general X-shape. Upper ends of the crossbars are pivotably connected to the hinge connectors. There is provided a pair of vertical poles connecting the upper ends and lower ends of the crossbars, respectively. The vertical poles are extendible between a retracted position and an extended position, which allows the X-shaped crossbars to have a scissors-like motion so that the foldable frame can be folded in a transverse direction.

The cot includes a frame having a network of interconnected legs such that the frame is collapsible and expandable between open and closed configurations. The frame includes a stop to halt the expansion of the frame at a certain position. Flexible bedding depends from the frame in the nature of a hammock, with the flexible bedding being anchored at six positions about the frame. The frame of interconnected legs includes legs that are shaped to be out-of-the-way of the depending flexible bedding such that a child rests on the flexible bedding, not on the frame. Flexible straps run on an underside of the bedding and run to and between hubs of the frame.

The support apparatus may comprise side members, a support area configured to connect to the side members, and a bow truss configured to bow. When the device is assembled in the operating configuration, both the support area and the bow truss are connected between the side members and the bow truss is configured to bow and place the support area under tension. The bow truss may comprise a bow tube connected between two foot fixtures. In one embodiment, when the apparatus is supporting a sufficiently heavy object, the bow tube will bow and contact the ground surface and provide additional support to the apparatus.

Abstract: A foldable bed having a frame and a cover attached to the frame. The frame has two handles, two identical side beams each having a pair of groove beams pivotally connected to one of the handles, connectors and bars pivotally connected to the handles or the connectors. The foldable bed is able to be folded by a simple action of pulling the handle upward meanwhile stepping on the peddling member. And it is able to be expanded by a simple action of breaking off the two groove beams with two hands of a user. Furthermore, the foldable bed occupies relatively small storing space when folded since a width of the folded bed is much shorter than that of the expanded one's.
