Abstract: Exemplary arrangements include an apparatus for baby care comprising a base that includes an upper surface and a mat that extends in operative connection therewith. The mat portion includes a receiving portion for comfortable receipt of a baby thereon. The exemplary apparatus further comprises an adjustable strap that is operatively connected to opposing sides of the base and that extends across the receiving portion to comfortably secure a baby. The exemplary apparatus further comprises a flexible arm that includes proximal and distal ends. The proximal end is in operative connection with the base and the distal end is disposed above the receiving portion. The distal end includes an adjustable audio-visual device mount in operative connection therewith that is configured to operatively releasably engage an audio-visual device. In alternative exemplary arrangements, the exemplary apparatus is configured to be changeable between a open position and a folded position for storage and travel.

Abstract: A fall preventing barrier including a base assembly, a barrier assembly, a soothing assembly, and a cover assembly is disclosed herein. The base assembly includes a base that is configured to be placed on top of a mattress or on the floor. A plurality of barriers from said barrier assembly are mounted on top of said base, covering both lateral sides and a top side. The plurality of barriers is configured to impede a person from falling from a bed. The soothing assembly includes a plurality of lights, a plurality of voice recorders and a book holder to provide comfort. The soothing assembly is mounted on said plurality of barriers. Said cover assembly includes a cover that envelop the base assembly and the barrier assembly. The fall preventing barrier can be folded in order to be stored easily.

Abstract: An exemplary baby diaper changing station (260) includes a table (264) that is configured to be in operative supported connection with a wall (262) through a pair of transversely disposed mounting brackets (266, 268). The table is in movable rotatable connection with the mounting brackets. The table is rotatably movable between a use position in which a generally planar changing surface (280) extends generally horizontal and faces upward, and a stored position in which the table extends parallel to the wall and in outwardly overlying relation of the mounting brackets. A pair of torsion springs (348) that are associated with respective joints (276, 278) operate to rotationally bias the table toward the stored position once the table has been rotationally moved by the user away from the use position.

Abstract: A diaper changing device which can assist parents or other caregivers in changing an infant or other subject's diaper may include a base. The base may be flat. At least one diaper retainer tab may be provided on the base. The at least one diaper retainer tab may be configured to engage and secure a diaper in place on the base. The base and the at least one diaper retainer tab may be used by a caregiver to maintain the diaper in an easily reachable, strategically placed position as the diaper on an infant or adult is changed, allowing a caregiver to operate a front end of the diaper and wrap the front end over the subject. The caregiver may easily and rapidly pull the base frontward from the diaper to disconnect the diaper changing device from the diaper and finalize the diapering process.

The telescopic base comprises an outer shell portion and an inner extending portion located at least partially within the outer shell portion; an adjustable upper support pivotally coupled to the telescopic base; a connection limb having a first end operatively coupled to the adjustable upper support and a second end operatively coupled to the inner extending portion; an actuation pedal for adjusting an angle of the adjustable upper support in relation to the telescopic base; and a safety lock disposed on the telescopic base. The bouncer seat has a receiving area and an attachment pocket. The removable insert is received in the receiving area of the seat and receives an infant.

Abstract: In some examples, a method of cleaning a fitted sheet having four corners and an interior pocket, includes holding a fitted sheet from a center and allowing the four corners to dangle from the center so that the fitted sheet extends between a closed end at the center and an open end adjacent the four corners, coupling a securing device to the fitted sheet adjacent the open end to eliminate access to at least a portion of the interior pocket, placing the fitted sheet and the securing device in at least one of a washer and a dryer, removing the fitted sheet from the at least one of the washer and the dryer, and decoupling the securing device from the fitted sheet.

Abstract: A bassinette or crib sleep insert has converging sidewalls that are suspended around a top end of the bassinette or crib and terminate at a sleep surface at the bottom of the insert. Breathable cuddling bumpers are placed in the right location and with the right space to cuddle the baby. A wide lateral mesh window allows parents to see the baby through the mesh while lying in bed. Preferably, all material are soft and breathable, providing a safe environment for the baby.

Abstract: A breast pumping assembly for a forward-leaning chair is provided. The assembly allows for a breast pumping mother to be optimally positioned and comfortable while pumping breast milk, leading to quicker and more effective pumping. The breast pumping assembly and the chair are adjustable to adapt for different sized mothers and changing body size and shape as pumping progresses.

Abstract: A pet toy mat including a blanket assembly and an article assembly is disclosed. The blanket assembly includes a blanket having a centrally mounted padding for the comfort of the pet laying thereon. The blanket includes handles and bands on a rear portion. The padding in conjunction with the handles and bands have the added benefit of helping to maintain the blanket in a closed configuration. The padding providing stability while the bands keep the blanket from unfurling. The mounting assembly includes articles that have article loops mounted thereon. Each of the article loops are detachably mounted to a front interior portion of the blanket via clips that engage with mounting loops.

Abstract: A toy belt for stimulation and distraction of a baby during diapering. The belt includes a soft plush elongated belt element configured to snugly encircle and be fastened around a waist of the baby with engaged end fastening elements of hook and eye sections. The belt element has an outward surface section, when the heft is positioned on a stomach of the baby, having plush and hard pull toy elements which are capable of being manually manipulated by the baby are fixedly fastened. The belt and the toy elements are configured to be positioned on the baby whereby they do not interfere with diapering and feeding the baby. The toy belt further contains imbedded lighting and music elements activated by external compression switches.

In some embodiments, the swaddle wrap can be configured to be moved from a first state to a second state, the first enclosure can be configured to receive therein at least both feet of a baby in the second state, and the second enclosure can be configured to receive therein at least both feet of the baby in the second state to secure the swaddle wrap to the baby without the use of any fasteners or ties.

The chest bolster elevates the patient's thorax and provides for gentle cervical flexion, while the one or more head supports can be attached to the chest bolster in different configurations to support the patient in a face down position or with the head turned laterally.

The patient support deck comprises a fowler section at the head end and a foot section at the foot end. The fowler section is capable of articulating relative to the base. The second tubular pillow is preferably wider than the first tubular pillow and includes two straps. Methods of using the pillows of the cushioned, resistive infant positioning system are presented that provide positioning, calming, and/or the prevention and/or the correction of head shape deformations.

Abstract: A convertible backpack or carrying bag for establishing an infant changing station, including a body having a first rigid lower depth defining half and a second pivotally connected rigid upper half. A strap extends from the upper half which is adapted to secure to an elevated location in order to support the body in an open position in which the infant is supported upon the lower depth defining half. A clamp or other attachment portion can be secured to the strap and includes a “U” shaped hook portion adapted for engaging a top extending door edge. The table is movable between a use position in which a changing surface (18) extends generally horizontal and faces upward, and a stored position in which the table extends parallel to the wall and in overlying relation of the base. The table is supported through rails (108, 110) that extend in respective channels (102, 104) within the table. Stop pins (154) are configured to stop rotation of the table in the use position and to prevent damage to the changing station from an excessive downward load on the table. The stop pins are frangible so that if an excessive load is applied, the pins bend and break without causing damage to other structures. The changing station can be returned to service by replacement of the stop pins.

Abstract: A bolster crate pad has a central pad that is rectangular with a pair of long ends and a pair of short ends. The central pad has a fabric cover and a filling. An inner bolster pad extends around a periphery of the central pad. An outer bolster pad is connected along a short end of the inner bolster pad. In one case, a second outer bolster pad is connected to a second short end of the inner bolster pad. In another case, the inner bolster pad has a number of trapezoidal subpads. The trapezoidal subpads can be isosceles trapezoids and they are connected together at their tops. The bolster crate pad may have two other outer bolster pads. This arrangement allows the bolster crate pad to fit a wide variety of crates without bunching in the corners.

The seat may be removably secured to the seat support by folding a top portion of the seat over and around the seat support and then coupling the seat thereto. Abstract: This invention relates to a transformable furniture unit, and in particular to a changing table with shelving that transforms into two sitting benches, and into a bed. The infant's changing table with shelving comprises four posts that support two tiers of shelving, with the capacity to support additional tiers in another aspect of the invention. The tiers of shelving are supported by wooden beams that connect perpendicularly to the four posts. The changing table with shelving transforms into two sitting benches when one tier of shelving is detached from the other. The furniture can be transformed into a bed when the sitting bench with the high back support is used as a headboard, the second sitting bench with no back support is used as the foot of the bed, and a supplementary support panel is attached in between, holding together the headboard and the foot of the bed.

The infant supporting apparatus has a configuration of use in which the infant supporting apparatus has the leg frame standing on a ground adjacent to a play yard that is received at least partially through the clearance, the infant resting support being suspended from above the play yard and the infant supporting apparatus being attached with the play yard. Moreover, the infant supporting apparatus can be independently used as a standalone device separate from the play yard.

The article may include a special-purpose sheet, restraint(s) such as strap(s) that are anchored to the sheet and/or to a mattress, and connector(s) such as buckle(s). The sheet is designed to have a plurality of attached bases that allow the restraints to be anchored to the sheet and/or to the mattress. The baby may be placed on the sheet on his back, the restraints may be lightly tightened around the baby, and the connectors at the ends of the restraints may join to lock the baby on his back. The connectors may then be unlocked in the morning so that the baby may be safely retrieved from the sheet. The sheet may also include strap(s) that wrap around the mattress and connect in the front or back.

Securing straps attach to the flexible support material and are configured to attach the flexible support material to a child safety seat or a child stroller. The securing straps and securing envelope provide tension across the flexible support material to provide a rigidly supported substantially horizontal surface where a caregiver can change a diaper or clothes of the infant or small child.

Abstract: An infant care accessory comprising a combination diaper bag and changing mat. The accessory comprises a body having a two side panels and a center panel. When the side panels are upright, the body forms a diaper bag. When the side panels are opened flat with the center panel, the body forms a diaper changing mat. The inside surface of the body is made of fluid impermeable material, and a fluid barrier is positioned along the center panel. The fluid barrier may be a strip of absorbent material. When a baby is placed lengthwise on the opened out body with the center panel positioned at about the baby's waist, urine and other body fluids will be blocked or absorbed by the fluid barrier and will not travel up under the baby's back and head. A removable accessory pouch may be included for carrying diapers, lotion, powder, and other changing essentials.

Abstract: A baby changing pad configured to store accessories for changing a diaper of an infant or child. The changing pad includes a main body with a plurality of horizontal and vertical seams upon which the changing pad can be folded. A waterproof reloadable wipe dispenser is attached to or integrated into the changing pad. A pouch is attached to or integrated into the changing pad and is configured to store diapers. Magnets and a wrist strap are attached to the changing pad. The changing pad can be folded along the plurality of horizontal and vertical seams into a closed position, which is held in place with the magnets. A user can carry the changing pad by using an integrated wrist strap.

The support device supports the head, neck, spine and spinal cord of a newborn baby or infant when the infant is on the fabric body to inhibit injury to the infant's head, neck, spine and spinal cord. The fabric body can be a swaddle blanket and/or sleeve.
