  • Patent number: 10959548
Abstract: A fitted mattress cover is provided, having elastic elements at each corner which hold the cover in place. A corner elastic element runs along each corner seam, and is attached to the center of a diagonal elastic element. The diagonal elastic acts a lock system to prevent movement of the fitted sheet during any pull from the top of the fitted sheet. The corner elastic helps to hold the corner of the cover to the mattress, and also prevents peaking of the corner seam, leading to an improved appearance and helps to fit mattresses of different thickness. Elbow elastics at the corners, perpendicular to the corner elastics, hold the side panels tightly to the mattress and inhibit them from sliding upwards.

  • Patent number: 7395567
Abstract: A rail assembly is formed of rails equal to the length of side faces of a waterbed. Each of the rails has a common cross sectional configuration. Each of the rails has a flat rear face and with sloping faces. The sloping faces extend forwardly and terminating in a groove. The groove has inwardly extending parallel surfaces. The parallel surfaces have a common spacing and terminate in a semi-cylindrical surface. Coupling components include screws. The screws extend through the rails. The screws are adapted to couple with sides of a waterbed. A plurality of similarly configured rods each have a cylindrical configuration. The rods have a diameter slightly less than the spacing between the sides of the groove and the diameter of the semi-cylindrical surfaces.

  • Patent number: 7353554
Abstract: The floating water bed includes a specially designed unique sleeping bag and a movable mattress pad. The sleeping bag is both thin and soft and it is placed on top of the movable mattress pad. This movable mattress pad can be lowered or risen from the water. As the human being rests within the sleeping bag, with the press of a button, the mattress pad can be lowered into the water along with the sleeping bag and the individual inside. At this time, the individual inside the sleeping bag will be floating in mid-water and will begin experiencing soothing relaxation. The floating water bed will have a well-shaped hole perpendicular to the sleeping bag and rising out of the water, providing the individual with an entrance into the sleeping bag as well as a breathing space once they are within the sleeping bag. With this well-shaped hole, the individual can breathe easily without the use of oxygen masks or additional equipment.

  • Patent number: 6035470
Abstract: A waterbed system is provided. The waterbed system comprises a water fillable bed mattress, a plurality of transverse partitions, an air bag unit, and a bed protecting cover. The plurality of transverse partitions serve to dissipate the water disturbances caused by the weight and movement of a user, and enhance the stability and structural integrity of the mattress when filled with water. Those portions of the water fillable bed mattress at which components are joined are thus subjected to less pressure and stress and, consequently, the threat of water leakage is minimized. In certain embodiments, at least one longitudinal partition is also disposed within the water fillable mattress to isolate water disturbances in one set of transverse partitions from propagating to another set of transverse partitions, if any. The longitudinal partition is formed with water openings spaced in offset manner.
