  • Patent number: 11339815
Abstract: A mechanical connection connects panels edge sides to one another. Adjacent first and second panels can be locked in the horizontal and vertical direction by a substantially perpendicular joining movement. For vertical locking, a locking edge is arranged on the first panel and a locking element that can be displaced relative to the panels is arranged on the second panel. The locking element can be displaced behind the locking edge by a pivoting movement. A locking projection for displacing behind the locking edge and an arcuate guide arm guided in a guide groove of the second panel are designed to be partially withdrawn from the guide groove with a rotary or pivoting movement of the locking element by a leg. The leg projects from the guide groove of the locking element coming into contact with the first panel when being set down in a region below the locking edge.

Abstract: A system for a floor covering that includes covering panels (10A, 10B) made of a hard material, having relatively little thickness (e), with upper and lower surfaces (1a, 2a; 1b, 2b), perimetral edges (3a, 3b) and recesses (4a, 4b), and attachment parts (20) made of a relatively flexible material and having projecting members (21a, 21b) and spacing members (22a, 22b). In practice, the projecting members (21a, 21b) of the attachment parts are introduced in the recesses (4a, 4b) of the covering panels (10A, 10B) assuring the link between covering panels (10A, 10B), and the spacing members (22a, 22b) of the attachment parts (20) remain between the facing edges (3a, 3b) of the covering panels (10A, 10B) filling a gap (G) between them in the form of a joint.

Abstract: A system for installing and securing construction materials. The system provides for constructing structures which comprise a covering. The system uses an installing and securing clip attached to a support structure. The installing and securing clip can grasp and hold in place a construction material used for a covering. The system allows for attaching construction materials while keeping the attachment mechanism largely out of sight for desired aesthetics. The system also allows for easy removal of construction material for repair or replacement.

  • Patent number: 8997428
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new tension link drill floor level connection system for use on a drilling rig, as may be used in subterranean exploration. The present invention provides a tension link assembly for resisting separating forces incurred between sections of the substructure. In particular, the tension link assembly may be located at the drill floor level for resisting the separating forces imparted by “splayed” or wide leg mast structures that tend to separate substructure side boxes from the substructure center section. The present invention may be comprised of a first link element and a second link element with a tension link being connectable over the first and second link elements to resist separation between sections of the substructure. A latch mechanism may be utilized to prevent upward movement of the tension side boxes or center section relative to the drill floor or to one another.
