Abstract: A filament positioning control device for composite spinning of filaments and staple fibers comprises a fixed shaft and a hollow shaft mounted thereon. Left and right spiral wheels with left and right spiral grooves are mounted on the hollow shaft. Left and right positioning plates are provided on outer sides of left and right spiral wheels, each having a guide pin engaged in a spiral groove. Each positioning plate has a guide block engaged in a guide rail. As the hollow shaft is rotated, the spiral wheels rotate accordingly and the guide pins on the left and right positioning wheels move along with the spiral grooves. Because spiral grooves on two spiral wheels have different directions, when the spiral wheels rotate, the distance between positioning grooves on the two positioning plates increases or decreases, thereby changing the distance between two filaments guided by grooves on the positioning plates.

Abstract: In a process for manufacturing a singles ring yarn, a method and apparatus is invented which utilizes double belts as a false twist device and incorporates it in the conventional ring spinning machine for producing a singles ring yarn. In this invention, a double-belts is applied thus two twisting points, instead of one twisting point, are adopted for the yarn false twisting to improve the false twist efficiency. Accordingly, a ratio of the velocity of the belt to the delivery speed of the yarn is controlled and the wrapping angle of the yarn on the belts is adjusted in order to obtain the desired property of the final singles ring yarn. The said invention can enhance the strength of fiber strand at the spinning triangle and thus ensure the yarns spun in a normal condition at low twist multipliers, which is unable to be obtained by the conventional ring spinning machine.

Abstract: The invention relates to a spinning device for the production of a spun thread from a fiber bundle, including a nozzle part with an upper nozzle part and a lower nozzle part. Likewise, a spindle is included with an upper part and a lower part. In order to be able to carry out cleaning work between an edge of a fiber guide surface opposite an intake mouth of the spindle, or, at the start of the spinning, in order to be able to guide a yarn end through a yarn guide channel of the spindle onto the fiber guide surface, the upper nozzle part is capable of being raised or can be pivoted. In this situation, the lower nozzle part may remain stationary.

Abstract: In a process for condensing a drafted fiber strand in a condensing zone arranged downstream of a front roller pair of a drafting apparatus, the fiber strand is transported through the condensing zone by means of a perforated, suctioned transport belt. It is hereby provided that the fiber strand has the same direction of motion as the transport belt. Furthermore, it is ensured that a sufficient amount of the fibers located in the fiber strand are still nipped by the front roller pair during condensing. This results in the advantage that the front ends of the fibers of the fiber strand to be condensed do not insert themselves into the perforation of the transport belt, thus leading to clogging.
