  • Patent number: 11960836
Abstract: An index value assignment device comprises: a selection unit that prompts a user to select, from a sentence, one or more words that the user feels to have a same degree of a predetermined index value with respect to one or more first words for which the index value is known; a validation unit that validates the selection result by the user on a basis of the index value of a second word for which the index value is known from among the one or more words included in the selection result; and a determination unit that determines the index value with respect to a third word for which the index value is unknown from among the one or more words selected by the user, on a basis of the index value of the first word according to the selection result for which the selection result is determined to be valid. Consequently, the efficiency of assigning word familiarity is increased.

  • Patent number: 11955213
Abstract: In clinical documentation, mere documentation of a condition in a patient's records may not be enough. To be considered sufficiently documented, the patient's record needs to show that no documentation drop-offs (DDOs) have occurred over the course of the patient's stay. However, DDOs can be extremely difficult to detect. To solve this problem, the invention trains time-sensitive deep learning (DL) models on a per condition basis using actual and/or synthetic patient data. Utilizing an ontology, grouped concepts can be generated on the fly from real-time hospital data and used to generate time-series data that can then be analyzed by trained time-sensitive DL models to determine whether a DDO for a condition has occurred during the stay. Non-time-sensitive models can be used to detect all the conditions documented during the stay. Outcomes from the models can be compared to determine whether to notify a user that a DDO has occurred.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present application are directed towards systems and methods for hybrid blockchain control. According to some embodiments a method for hybrid blockchain control, an update to a distributed blockchain is received from a blockchain system. The blockchain system includes multiple nodes individually storing copies of the distributed blockchain and individually updating the copies by a consensus process. A determination is made as to whether the distributed blockchain has been fraudulently modified based on the received update. In response to determining the distributed blockchain has been fraudulently modified: 1) a corrective block is disseminated to the blockchain system to trigger the consensus process on the nodes; and 2) a predefined override in the consensus process is invoked to update the copies of the distributed blockchain in a manner that bypasses an illegitimate block. Further, the predefined override is invoked while the consensus process processes the corrective block.

  • Patent number: 11902306
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling an IT and security operations application to detect and remediate advanced persistent threats (APTs). The detection of APTs involves the execution of search queries to search event data that initially was associated with lower-severity activity or that otherwise did not initially rise to the level of actionable event data in the application. The execution of such search queries may thus generally be configured to search non-real-time event data, e.g., event data that outside of a current window of days or a week and instead searches and aggregates event data spanning time periods of many weeks, months, or years. Due the nature of APTs, analyses of historical event data spanning such relatively long periods of time may in the aggregate uncover the types of persistent activity associated with APTs that would otherwise go undetected based only on searches of more current, real-time event data.
