  • Patent number: 8549733
Abstract: A transducer and method of forming a transducer is disclosed. The method comprises locating a feed wire for forming a drive pin on a reed surface, welding a first end of the feed wire to the reed, cutting the feed wire to form a drive pin, and securing the drive pin to a paddle. The first end of the feed wire can be welded to the reed by a laser welding operation. The laser melts the reed to form a molten reed material, and the feed wire is pushed through the molten reed material to form a weld between the feed wire and the reed, once the molten reed material solidifies. The wire coil is then cut with a second laser to form the drive pin. The drive pin is then adhered to a paddle with an adhesive.

Abstract: A notching, shearing, and hemming tool constructed with a table which receives the roofing panel, at least two notching devices (notchers), a pan shear pivotally mounted on the table, and a hemming tool pivotally mounted on the table. To prepare a finished end piece of roofing panel, the roofing panel is placed in a panel alignment section at a first end of the tool. Each of the notching devices is movable, so that the relative position of the two notchers is variable. After notching, the roofing panel is moved to the pan shear, which is set at the proper angle by movement of a lever mechanism connected to the notchers. • Patent number: 4506433
Abstract: The bending and shearing machine according to the invention comprises a framework, a table which can be vertically displaced and on which sheet metal, such as steel sheets, may slide as well as a rocker head which can be pivoted 180.degree.. The displacement of the table is carried out by means of a system including levers and pistons. One of the horizontal edges of the rocker head carries a knife while the other holds a wedge or a bending roller. The table includes a cutting matrix which carries a knife mounted at the end of the table and a bending matrix shaped to rest on the cutting matrix. The rocker head pivots according to an eccentric axis so that its knife and its wedge or bending roller are offset with respect to one another when they are in operation.

  • Patent number: 4457160
Abstract: In an automatic punching and bending machine the interspace between the bending device and the punching device is adjustable in order to make the interspace as small as possible and to adjust that interspace in dependence on the length of the working piece of a band material, thereby gaining the advantages that series of different work pieces of high precision can be produced in the same machine. The bending device is removable and can easily be replaced by another one which has been reset in a preceding working process. Therefore standstill periods of the machine are reduced.

  • Patent number: 4226109
Abstract: The invention concerns a tool for stamping of holes or the like in sheet material, such as metal plate. The tool is mountable on a handheld motor, such as a pneumatic or hydraulic piston and cylinder motor and comprises a stationary part supported against the motor cylinder and a movable part connectable to the motor piston. The displaceable tool part has at least one slot at right angles to the direction of the motor stroke and a through drilling extends through said slot at right angles thereto at a distance from its base. The portion of said drilling at the outside of the slot is formed as a stamping die, and the portion thereof inside of the slot accommodates a stamping plunger, whose inside end engages the stationary tool part. When a piece of sheet material is inserted into the slot with its edge in engagement with the base thereof and the motor is actuated, the plunger stamps a hole in said sheet material at a fixed distance from its edge.
