  • Patent number: 7766311
Abstract: A device for providing rotational and axial locking capability using a wireform with at least one wrap. The device requires very low actuation forces. The wireform can be constructed with end features that provide a specific tension such that when the device is engaged a differential slip torque in a clockwise and counterclockwise rotational direction is developed.

  • Patent number: 6530294
Abstract: A vehicle control device, in particular a clutch mechanism for a tractor, includes a control lever and guide mechanism in which the lever is selectively movable from a first rest position to a second engaged position. The control lever is subjected to the action of an elastic apparatus operable to move the lever into the first rest position if the lever is released before reaching a given point along the guide mechanism. The elastic apparatus also being operable to move the control lever into the second engaged position if the control lever is released past the given point.

  • Patent number: 6168120
Abstract: An operator for a railroad implement is provided with a linkage which mechanically isolates an actuator from impact forces transmitted through the linkage. Isolation provided by the linkage permits the use of a low power actuators which easily lend themselves to complete energization from solar energy sources. The operator is also provided with a safety electric interlock to prevent energization of the actuator during manual operation. A spring assembly tool is incorporated into the operator housing to facilitate installations and removal of compression springs in the operator mechanism.
