Abstract: A sport bar for a motor vehicle has front and rear mounting tubes inclined relative to each other. A removable side panel fits between the mounting tubes. The panel is fastened to a mounting frame having a periphery from which extend a plurality of mounting plates inclined to one side of the mounting panel flange. A periphery of the mounting plates are connected to the mounting tubes on an inner side of a plane through the mounting tubes, with the inclined mounting plates positioning the side panel adjacent a plane along the outer periphery of the mounting tubes. Threaded fasteners allow replacement of the side panel while the bracket remains.
