    Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Myrtus plant named ‘FAZ-RED’ is disclosed, characterized by bright green, aromatic foliage, abundant flowering, and a round plant habit. Foliage also exhibits a strong red coloration during several months of the year. Plants are observed to tolerate a temperature range between ?7° C. and 40° C. The new variety is a Myrtus, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.
