  • Patent number: 8327990
Abstract: A clutch unit including a torsional vibration damper and having at least friction clutch, but can have two friction clutches combined into a twin clutch. The torsional vibration damper includes an input component that extends axially over the at least one friction clutch at the outer circumference of the friction clutch, so that a counterpressure plate of the at least one friction clutch is disposed axially between the drive engine and energy accumulators carried by the torsional vibration damper. Thus, the clutch unit has a smaller axial extent and can be accommodated in limited installation spaces.

  • Patent number: 8196401
Abstract: A hydraulic system for controlling a belt-driven conical-pulley transmission. A pump draws a working medium from a working medium tank or through a cooler return valve from a cooler return line. The cooler return valve is a minimum pressure valve that holds closed a connection between the cooler return line and a pump inlet line through the cooler return valve, as long as the pressure in the cooler return line remains below a specified minimum pressure. The cooler return valve also opens the connection between the cooler return line and the pump inlet line through the cooler return valve as soon as the specified minimum pressure in the cooler return line is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 8191699
Abstract: A pull-type friction clutch having an annular part that is axially clamped to a disk spring and is axially fixedly connectable to an actuation sleeve of an actuation system. The annular part has axially raised lugs on its face bearing against the disk spring, and the lugs engage in slots that are provided between the disk spring tongues where the tongues are appropriately widened, to provide a form locking connection in the peripheral direction. As a result of the peripherally fixed attachment of the annular part to the disk spring, wear caused by a relative twist between the annular part and the disk spring is prevented.
