Abstract: A method to reduce cross link vapors trapped in hollow cross link polyethylene products produced by rotomolding is disclosed. Ozone is introduced into the hollow product after the polymer has cross linked. Compressed air is delivered with the ozone to circulate the ozone effectively. Use of the ozone oxidizes the cross link vapors and permits reduction in stored inventory of units awaiting dissipation of the cross link polyethylene vapors. A system for batch treatment of the products is also disclosed.

Abstract: Exercise apparatus for strengthening the legs and hips of a user. A weight carrying pivot arm rides up and down a pivotable mast when the user squats and rises, causing the resistance of the apparatus to increase as the user approaches a standing position. An optional toe plate may be added to allow exercise of ankle and foot structures.

Abstract: An improved trash container useful for receiving a container liner and having clasps to grasp the edges of the liner to prevent the liner from falling into the container. The clasps may be integrally formed on the container or mounted to the container by adhesive or mechanical means.

Abstract: An improved, hand-held, battery powered golf ball washer having a case with a ball receiving chamber and a motor containing chamber, the ball receiving chamber having therein a U-shaped brush which is rotatable within the ball receiving chamber and in relatively close relationship to the wall of the ball receiving chamber. The ball receiving chamber is provided with a curved T-shaped stationary brush mounted to its inner wall such that a golf ball may be inserted within the ball-receiving chamber, a detergent solution added, a hatch closed over the opening, with motor means within the motor containing chamber to drive the U-shaped brush about the golf ball in the ball receiving chamber, thereby causing the ball to rotate and scrub against the stationary brush while the rotatable brush scours the ball as well.

Abstract: A support for a tree or shrub includes a vertical post with a supporting frame welded to the post. The frame includes horizontal sides which have downwardly depending stakes fixed to them. The support may be placed near a tree or shrub so that the sides of the frame surround the tree or shrub. The stakes and post are driven into the ground to a point where the frame abuts the ground. Loops on the post are available to connect supporting cords or wires from the tree trunk or bush stem.

Abstract: A relief valve for a hydraulic piston consists of a tubular mid-section with closed ends and circular stops at each end. The tubular center section has cross ports at each end that run perpendicularly to the axis of the valve. The cross parts are situated as close to the end stops as possible. The cross ports intersect the hollow center of the spool and allow hydraulic oil to flow through the piston via the passageway in the center of the valve when the valve is in the open position.

Abstract: Hand held golf ball washing apparatus having a ball receiving chamber wherein a ring-shaped rotatable brush is positioned. The brush is driven on its axis by a battery-powered motor. Push button switch means is provided to selectively operate the motor. A removable hatch is provided in the apparatus to allow insertion and removal of a golf ball to be cleaned, and for insertion of a detergent solution.

Abstract: A urinal mat provided with upstanding baffles to decelerate a stream of urine impinging thereon. The base of the mat is contoured and flexible to conform generally to the geometry within the urinal. Openings through the base are provided to permit liquids to drain through. Optionally provided are upstanding posts to receive a cake of deodorant thereon. An alternative embodiment provides a depression in the base into which deodorant may be deposited during manufacture. A flexible flange depends from an edge of the mat to engage the urinal sidewall in order to direct flush water over the mat.

Abstract: A bleed valve apparatus for the fresh water system of a camping vehicle. The apparatus is interposed between a garden hose and the female hose coupling of the plumbing system of the camping vehicle. The apparatus includes a housing which contains three ends, one of which has a mating coupling for the camping vehicle plumbing system. A second end may be coupled to the garden hose. The third end is isolated from the other ends by a water valve which may be opened to allow the apparatus to serve as an outdoor faucet at the camping vehicle or to serve to allow water to drain from the camping vehicle plumbing when the user of the camping vehicle desires to disconnect from the external water system provided through the hose. The configuration of the apparatus allows a garden hose to be routed from the camping vehicle to a water hydrant with few required bends along the hose.
