  • Patent number: 5152414
Abstract: An improved composting container comprising a plurality of panels fixed edge-to-edge to form a curved enclosure. Rods are inserted through some of the panels such that the rods form pyramidal shaped groups within the enclosure, in one hemisphere of the container. The panels are each thin walled enclosures having insulating spaces therein, with gas passageways passing through the panels. Straps are provided to maintain the panels in edge-wise interrelationships. Alternative embodiments provide towable and stationary composting devices.

  • Patent number: 5020627
Abstract: A highly maneuverable four-wheel drive, four-wheel steer tractor is provided with hydraulic motors mounted at each wheel to drive the wheels. Each wheel and associated hydraulic motor is pivotable relative to the frame of the tractor. Steering is accomplished at all four wheels simultaneously by use of a hydraulic piston which rotates a longitudinal bar suspended under the frame. The elongated bar drives tie rods to the wheel and motor assemblies to cause steering deflection. The front wheels steer oppositely to the rear wheels to reduce the turning radius of the tractor.

  • Patent number: 4883022
Abstract: An improved animal waterer which provides a cover having a depending polygonal basin with ports in the sidewalls of the basin. The cover overlies a water container such that the basin engages water in the container. A float which glides vertically along a pair of guides allows an animal to depress the float angularly while preventing removal of the float from the basin. A sloped, ribbed bottom of the container facilitates draining and cleaning of the container.

  • Patent number: 4866793
Abstract: A textured, contoured toilet anti-splash and silencer device for adjustable mounting on a toilet at the rear, or the front, of the bowl. The device, a contoured, textured maze, disperses urine into the water of the toilet bowl by breaking, without splash, the velocity of the urine stream, containing the urine within the contour, and then directionally draining the urine noiselessly into the water of the toilet. Depending solely upon the needs of the user the maze device can be suspended within the bowl on either adjustable mounts at the back of the toilet or on fixed mounts at the front of the toilet bowl, thereby ensuring that it is able to be positioned out of the way when the seat is lowered. The device is preferably made of molded plastics to ensure contours and for corrosion resistance. A flange on the device induces self-cleaning during toilet flushing in order to keep the device hygienically clean and odor free.
